CORRECTION: Benoist C 1915

Have not seen picture of the twin boomed tail, though

There's something odd at mid-span on the lower left wing, and the left wingtip leading edge ain't the same as the right one.

Please ignore the mid span oddity ( Rubbish editing) but the wing tip is original .

Clue : The designer went on to be a famous industry name with his own company

It is the Loughead F-1 - featured previously by your good self at

http://www.pprune.org/aviation-histo...ml#post5763748

while rebuilt as the landplane F-1A in 1918. Jack Northrop was the designer.

Over to you Graeme

Thanks Doug. I think your last float-plane was a Loughead so I started there first!

Haven't had a lot of time to make silhouettes lately but here goes...

I too am wondering if this is a repeat challenge. I think it is a CAC Boomerang, perhaps a CA-19, as the guns appear to be erased.
