Yes, I often wonder that Bri. She was the star of the show for sometime and then just disappeared.

Identify the aircraft:
Is it homemade? The "knobs/levers" at left look very.....different(?)

(Happy 7th birthday! )

The aircraft is in the experimental category. It can indeed be kit built. As with most amateur built aircraft, variations in cockpit layout are expected. The power controls are different in this same named aircraft:

Thumbs up

Thanks eb, it has to be Open House.

A Turbine Legend - kit built - must have cost a bit?

Good morning all,

Come on aviate1138; you must know what it is by now; even if you didn't when you asked the Long Island question, so you might as well bag it for the record even if you have to call another Open House! Although, after seeing what you said on the "Great shot" thread

My job is Motion Picture Visual Effects and Aviation related image gathering.
You should be able to scrape something up

Just by chance I happen to think [researching the name Chauncey] that the cockpit in question might well be the Chance[Chauncey] Vought E-7...........

If it is then it Open House - busy, busy....

Thanks aviate1138

It is indeed the Vought VE-7; the military follow-on to the sole Chance Vought VE-7 Bluebird sport/trainer, their first production aircraft and the first to operate from an aircraft carrier.

Due to pressure of work, aviate1138 has requested an Open House

Sorry gents, none of the flying-boats given on the previous page. I double checked Mel's list - I can't see it there.
