Good afternoon Trevor. No need to wonder it is the CCF Burnelli CBY-3 Loadmaster.
In 1944, the Canadian Car & Foundry built a revolutionary new aircraft in its Montreal shops - the Burnelli CBY-3, also called the Loadmaster. There were two examples built of an aerofoil-fuselage design originally developed by Vincent J. Burnelli. The CBY-3 was never to enter full-scale production and was cancelled less than one year later.

You have control.

Having some problems with Photobucket at the moment. Three attempts to resize a photograph, but all to no avail.
Thus it is;

The "Airframe Manufacture Data" plate says it's Make "B.C. (O?) Curtiss JR", Model "C-W 1", Serial number 1. Manufactured Oct 2011.

Replica of a Cub I believe.

Ah yes, it seems to be a replica Curtiss-Wright CW-1 Junior, (originally Curtiss-Robertson).

As the engine is listed as a "C- 90" it seems that the CW-1's Szekely SR-3 radial engine isn't present, so I'm putting my money on a kinda-replica.

The airfreame is not a replica. The C90 was installed as a safety precaution vs. the Szekely.

It appears you have the inside story c2j. How about telling us about it? Probably better in a new thread though.

I don't think aerobelly knows the rules of this thread.

If I could find the rules I'd read and follow. But nothing useful shows up by searching Pprune, nor looking at the beginning of this thread, nor the latest list. So I've run out of logical places to look, can you give me a pointer?

I'll make it easy. You identified the cockpit correctly, and sabredog confirmed it by giving you control (YHC means "you have control"). So you must either post a challenge cockpit (preferable) or declare an "open house" which opens the thread to anyone wishing to post a mystery cockpit. In other words, you are rewarded for getting a challenge correct by having to post a challenge. Yes, it is a bit of negative reinforcement, but posting a challenge can be fun and a bit rewarding too.

Ah, OK. Here's one I had ready yesterday evening, while waiting for confirmation that I'd got the actual aircraft right even I thought it was a replica of something else.
