Thank you,Kitbag. The Druine D.31 Turbulent appears to be very popular at the moment.
The next challenge should not last very long;

How about inter war British military twin engine biplane, close coupled cockpit and gunners emplacement;

Vickers Virginia?

Not the Vicker's Virginia,Kitbag. But good reasoning nonetheless.
The machine is WW1 vintage.

Sunday morning clues

It's British Kitbag.
Claude Grahame-White at the controls.
Designed for passenger flying and set a World record in 1913.
One of the largest British aircraft built before WWI.

That is the one Mel. Your control.

The Grahame-White Type 10 Charabanc. It set a World record at Hendon on 22nd September 1913 with pilot and seven passengers remaining aloft for 17 min 25.4 sec.
This was bettered on the 2nd October by cramming nine passengers in the nacelle and staying airborne for 19 min 47 sec.

Well spotted Mel. I do recall a crisp French "Char-a-Blanc" that was quite complementary with my Dover sole. No connection, I suspect...
