Graeme. At the time country of origin was I believe classed as Central European.
It was designed as a reconnaissance aircraft and first flew late 1930s. It was a rare bird.

Harley, not the AviaB158, but your getting closer.

Hi Graeme
Not the Letov S.50, right country and as shown a very similar cockpit layout. Only one of these aircraft built.

Good evening Mel,

First time on for a number of very busy days!

I think it may be the Praga E.51 ??

I regret to say that it'll have to be Open House if correct as I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back again

Hi Trevor.
You have it the Praga E.51.

The Praga E-51 was a Czechoslovakian reconnaissance aircraft and light bomber built by Praga . The E-51 first flew on 26 May 1938. As a result of Germany's invasion of Czechoslovakia, development stopped. There was only one prototype built. The appearance of the structure is very similar to the Dutch the Fokker GI .

Thanks Sabredog, one of few I could identify from the inside out... although maybe not the exact model, this picture of a ca.135 came to mind:

Looks like Graeme was hot on the trail !
