Judging by the eucalyptus trees outside it could be a GA8 Airvan perhaps?

Sorry, not the Gippsland GA8. The design of the mystery aircraft is three decades older than the GA8.

Almost 24hrs, 110 views, no takers yet ? Clue time, photo taken by me last week, very local to me ! it's a bi-plane homebuild type, as I stated still being constructed, It's name has a very strong connection to Mel's hometown ! I think that will give it away ?????

aviate1138, it is not one of those ! sorry ! racking my brain for clues ..... mmmm think of Robin Hood ????? although I have seen and touched this aircraft I have never seen one flying but have seen photos of flying examples with British registrations ????
