This my first try at posting a picture, hope it works!
This has been done before but it was a very old photo so I hope its allowed. (also its the only airport on my laptop)

I was going to say 'haven't a clue' but there are some pointers there,
The landscape looks glaciated and relatively treeless, the trees in the foreground are conifers, so I'd say relatively 'northern' (or southern) continental, with cold winters.
The lake/river has a milky sheen so perhaps glacial meltwaters flow in.
Mining activity with stilling ponds at the far side of the lake. Possibly some sort of quay at the water's edge for loading of ore?
Oil storage facility in the near foreground, no company logos, so maybe a government facility.
Older? short runway parallel to the apron and later main runway parallel to the lake/river.
My money's on somewhere in Canada/US.

Depends upon your definition of Central Canada (Westerners claim title to all lands west of the Ontario/Manitoba boundary) but nowhere in 'Central' Canada has topography similar to the above, that I can recall.
