Guessing but the outline of the hill in the backgroung rings some bells. Could this just possibly be on a certain island somehwre in the Pacific?

Like somewhere on the Azores? Pico?

I hadn’t seen a flag, but would be surprised if it was Portugese.

Bottom right, limp. Looks to be green at the hoist and red at the fly, can't see the middle stripe (if any).
Cameroon, Italy, Mali,Mexico,Senegal. Doesn't look African to me, so Italy or Mexico. Italy I think.
