Sorry, not in New York State. The mystery airport is truly 'historic'.

Sorry, not Meigs Field, Chicago. Like Meigs Field, the mystery airport is no longer in operation.

Not sure of the name of the field, maybe patco, PA. Is that not the building they signed the decleration of independance in the background?

Sorry, not St. Louis, Missouri.

Good eye CathayBrat. The building is a replica of Independence Hall, but the airport is not located in Pennsylvania.

Fishtailed is correct. It is Ford Airport, Dearborn, Michigan. Then, as now, home to Henry Ford's historic Greenfield Village Museum. The photos portray the numerous aircraft taking part in one of several Ford Air Tours, which took place in the 1930s. You have control.

Thanks evansb, that was a good 'un, wouldn't have got it without the clue from Cathay Brat, though.

Hmmm.... Hedge around the terminal airside, Piper trainers and an UTVA-75 parked on the ramp, hills WNW, probably two or three Mig-21's parked out o sight behind the treeline in the distance?

Looks like Ljubljana Airport, Slovenia, possibly 15 years ago??
