Nice one warm toast. There is an element of 'purism' amongst some on here. Not necessary at all though as some of the 'aerodrome; photographs have either been very obscure locations or UK WW2 three runway airfields of which there were hundreds which in a lot of ways looked very similar.
This thread is a bit of fun and to my knowledge has not been infiltrated by the 'know it all' element, so chill out those that need to and lets continue with the great photos.
Oh, and by the way, I have never managed to be first to identify any airfield photo on this thread, but in many instances, when the answer was made known have gone 'of course that's where it is!'.
Great thread folks let's not spoil it please.

I cant help thinking the Lufthansa sign has been left there as a decoy.
Guessing at the aircraft being a rather famous one & to add a bit of stupidity to the thread I'm gonna go for Johannesburg.

From single wheel u/c, I'd guess this is second prototype G-ALZK which was op by BOAC on proving flights in 1951/2?
Also suspect "Luft" might be beginning of "Lufthavn" (i.e. Denmark somewhere?)

I've noticed runway 29 is posted as the runway in use. So taking the clue "Lufthavn" provided by Max Tow I am guessing it might be Bromma/Sweden.
Wikipedia states they have a RWY 12/30 but the variation might have changed since Comets went there.

Not Vienna/Wien
