A more sensible plan should be enacting a transition plan for affected regional cities and towns that would see their Rex services (along with employees and/or planes) transferred to Link, Skytrans, Hinterland, Pelican, Sharp etc - and QLink for Q400-capable/demanding destinations over the next 12 months, fully assisted by the Federal Government with subsidies where necessary

I say gaol time for these so called 'direcrors', and that grub of a CEO as well (I thought he was a director but that may have changed due to his CEO appointment).
Won't happen, ASIC will 'sue' them by slapping them with a wet fish and they will have to pay some paltry tokenistic amount for a crime that is hundreds/thousands of times worse.

ASIC seeks leave to commence the proceedings against Rex as it is in administration. While ASIC will seek a declaration of contravention against Rex, it will not seek pecuniary penalties against the company.
ASIC will seek declarations, pecuniary penalties and disqualification orders against Mr Lim, The Hon Sharp AM, Mr Pan and Mr Khotkar.

Unless they have the Lord Almighty as their D&O Insurer (I hear that LKH is on a first name basis with the big guy), none of the Gang of Four (Lim, Sharp, Pan, and Khotkar) will be covered. Insurers always look to limit their liability - there's a pretty much standard carve out whereby claims related to fraudulent or dishonest acts are excluded; same same for any claims relating to wilful violations or breaches of the law.
Those blokes will be on their Pat Malone for this one, and none too soon.

The question who wins the game of throwing em under the bus first. I dont any of them getting off.
Pan & Khotar don't stand a chance. Both were on the Rex Board & Rex (RAL) Board along with Howell & Sharp. But they will probably just go to another country and be a director there.
Does LKH throw Sharp under the bus.

More likely the other way around. JS was a non execute Director/ while LKH was executive Chairman, At the end of the day it will depend on who knew what when and whether there was a conscious decision not to inform the market as opposed to seeking further information to confirm the position. There has clearly been a falling out so the mud will be flying for sure

I'd assume he'd still run the show from SIN and make his decisions through the current COO (they've been the interim for almost 12 months now)
