Remote TWR hey ? In 2 years from now ? Don't know whether to laugh or cry ! For a start there are NO remote TWRS here yet.........we saw last week with Optus what can happen when you put all yr chips in with the telecom providers ! Good luck.
But then again on the other side of the coin as we are seeing with the Nov30 NSW Mil airspace changes at other times they can change everything pretty much at will.

And whch kind ? On the airfield but with no need for height (done with big long pole and cameras) or in a location far far away ?

It's already been moved again in the three weeks since I received an official reply from CASA OAR to my enquiry. As detailed from my post in this thread earlier this month they stated:

CASA has issued a direction to establish controlled airspace from 2025 and will work closely with Airservices to support airspace design.
The first phase will see the airspace reclassified and an approach control service provided by Airservices by 12 June 2025.
The second phase will see the establishment of a new aerodrome control service by Airservices no later than 27 November 2025.

Different approach (sorry) to Hobart, Launceston, Mackay and Rockhampton where an approach control service was added after the aerodrome control service had been operating for 60 or 70 years.
Here we go, yabbering on the ATC "approach" freq on one radio while trying to sort out the VFR sequence on the CTAF on the other. Put the tower in first! And put in a full-length parallel taxiway.

A search of sunnySA's 'AsA TIBA/TRA/OPR Restrictions' thread shows how often the YBNA SFIS is NOTAMed unavailable. If Airservices can't manage to staff a reliable SFIS for YBNA, any Airservices and OAR statements about any new YBNA CTA and CTR are balloon juice.
