rr9 give them a call tomorrow since they need at least 2 working days to answer your request which you need to record in a voice messege to some robot

Ally231 17th October 2012 18:52

@rr9

Stage 3

Be yourself
Demonstrate flexibility, thinking on your feet, team working, enthusiasm.

Prepare answers to competency type questions. Be prepared to expand and talk around your examples extensively.

Dress smart
Engage with the interviewers if they join you for lunch

Best of luck!

LGW_08R 17th October 2012 21:33

Still find myself waiting on stage 2 result from beginning of September. Can now only assume its not good news as many have taken and been informed since. Would be nice to know nonetheless :ugh:

CorkieMonster 18th October 2012 09:22

Stage 3

Received an email at 9am this morning saying I'd passed Stage 3 !:O Anyone else from Friday (12th) received their results too?

HeaVn 18th October 2012 09:33

Didn't make it, failed at stage 2... Sad day.. Do you know when we can re aply, is it 12 months after application or after we sat stage 1 ?

sambatc 18th October 2012 09:44

12 months since you did the initial online test. Don't hold your breath though, I should have been able to re-apply in October 2011......

HeaVn 18th October 2012 10:31

Yeah patience is the key I think.... Is it common to go through the first time? Is there many re applicants at the college?

jfalc 18th October 2012 14:49

CorkieMonster - well done! You must be so thrilled :)

Kimmikins 18th October 2012 14:56

CorkieMonster 18th October 2012 17:18

atc stage 2

hi, so can anyone elighten me on the types of things stage 2 consists of and how people who passed prepared and things :)

anialodz 18th October 2012 20:40

Does anyone knows is there an age limit for applicants? They told me in Nats that no age limit, but how does it looks in practice? Is anyone over 30 ?;(

whitelighter 19th October 2012 05:57

I applied at 30, passed my course at 31

lukeemac 19th October 2012 11:05

Can anyone tell me if its a good idea that I use a mouse for the initial online assessment or is a laptop touchpad sufficient? I understand some of the practise games may be involved.

Thanks
Luke

jbenger1 19th October 2012 17:16

Huge congratulations to all those with good news today! :)

It's reassuring to see people coming out of stage 3 with good results... fingers crossed for next week that i'll be able to post a happy message...

Stage 3

I also took stage 3 on Monday but not heard either way yet :/

lobster100 19th October 2012 19:26

Stage 3!

I was in stage 2 last Friday, heard I got through a couple of days ago. Really happy as I found DART pretty tough (weirdly did better in section 6 than section 5). Is anyone else doing stage 3 on November 1st? Congrats to all those who have passed :)

jboy92 19th October 2012 20:37

jacdoy101 19th October 2012 20:43

Weekend results?

Does anyone know if NATS send out pass/fail emails on a weekend or is it only during the weekdays the emails are sent out?

Thanks

Crazy Voyager 19th October 2012 21:05

Considering they are sent by HR and they most likely work normal office hours I doubt they are sent on weekends, I've never heard of it anyway.

jacdoy101 19th October 2012 21:08

Thought that would probably be the case, many thanks ! :)

PIKAD 20th October 2012 11:26

Still waiting from the 4th of Oct ,i believe that i havent many chances, nevertherless a guy told me that there will me a November group for the rest who succeed at Oct, but i dont believe in rumors...thinking to call them...

kibo55 20th October 2012 13:03

Hey all!! This is my first post and sadly it's not a good one! I had my stage 1 exam on 3rd October and a few days ago i got an email to say i was unsucessful! I know that i can try again in a year or 6months but i was just wondering what advice anyone has to give me? I heard that a lot of peopel in the college passed on their 2nd or 3rd attempt but i dont know if i can wait that long!

I also had a look at Eurocontrol but ireally do not fancy that :(

Kimmikins 21st October 2012 15:19

kibo55

Now that you know what to expect, you can prepare a lot better for the next time round. I failed Stage 1 on my first attempt (personality questionnaire was MEAN then) and fell at the final hurdle on my second attempt...
I'm on November's course, so I'm proof that it can be done :ok:

MattWT 22nd October 2012 10:34

Applied 14 weeks ago now and not heard anything. Had a few emails saying they were looking at my application but nothing else. Anyone else in this situation?

kibo55 22nd October 2012 16:29

How did you fall at the final hurdle in your second attempt?? I know i'll never give up but i will be so gutted if i get rejected twice from them :(

MattWT 22nd October 2012 18:02

Same here Tim, bit of a loss what to do. Graduating next year and really wanted to walk into a good job. Thankfull I've got a couple of other interviews lined up.

Kimmikins 23rd October 2012 10:55

Final hurdle...

...made it to Stage 3 and didn't get through?

csailor 23rd October 2012 11:13

stage 3 results

I had my stage 3 on the 16th, anyone from then get their results yet?
The wait is agonising, judging from here, it looks like some who done their S3 on 15th have their results, so hopefully mine will come sooooon.

jacdoy101 23rd October 2012 12:59

Stage 1 18th Oct

Anyone from Thurs 18th Oct Stage 1 received anything yet? Not holding out much hope although it has only been 3 working days :/

finchyp1 23rd October 2012 13:13

Some interesting comments here. It's quite easy to fall at the final hurdle. What you do is you turn up, and after a day of questions, they say you didn't make the grade. At least, that was my experience.

Nothing to it really.

Congratulations Kimmikins. It's good to hear that good old fashioned commitment still works on occasion. This is my second attempt, so fingers crossed for me. Thinking about it, I do not recall seeing any posts from people who got through the selection process first time. I guess people who do are perhaps less likely to go on forums like this, but I think it is a fairly rare outcome anyway.

As for "walking into a job".... If only it were that easy!!

Loz_89 23rd October 2012 13:14

I had mine on 18th and not heard either. What time were you at?

Eddy94 23rd October 2012 14:01

Im disappointed with NATS, as posted before, sat all stage 1 tests on 26th september but its nearly a month later now and no communication from them. Emailed last week and still nothing. I wouldnt mind at all if id failed to get through but id have just appreciated some response for some finality from it all. Good luck to all those still getting through the stages :)
