Either G-JZHL or G-JZHX will most likely position into STN from LBA later.

'HL' in Holidays Livery (seems appropriate) according to Planefinder.

G-JZHZ is on it's way from Seattle, due into LBA on Saturday morning!

Anybody any idea how long this B757 will be grounded for?

Incident: Jet2.com B752 near Amsterdam on May 2nd 2017, fuel leak

Looks like one of the new B737-800 planes has gone tech in Las Palmas tonight - G-JZHV.

G-CELK currently on route from Alicante, due into Las Palmas at 00:49, to operate LS144 return flight to Glasgow, with a 4hr delay.

Might be a few left behind, if flight is full, as its a 300 not 800 series.

All airlines have aircraft go tech. Just wondering why suddenly people feel the need to mention Jet2 ones. As with several other threads running at the moment for different airlines I can't help feeling some posters just cannot let go of things past in their hidden agendas!

New route just been put on sale for summer 2018 from Leeds

No hidden agenda from me!
Just a comment that it is the first of the new aircraft to do so. It was only an observation....nothing sinister.

Am I right in thinking that this is a return having operated it for 1 or 2 seasons a while back?...either way very welcome and an interesting route into France without much competition although very attractive to visitors and second home owners in the region:ok:

JZHV is back on home soil now anyways drama over :ok:

La Rochelle is more typical for Flybe. Doesn't look like a Jet2 market.

Council Van 4th May 2017 09:27

Whilst Benidorm, the Canaries etc for the sun booze and a fry up breakfast is a big part of the Jet2 market they are also moving towards high quality holidays.

Including Indulgent Escapes.

I always thought the coast line looked fantastic when nipping up from Bordeaux to Nantes on late summer evening's. To the Noth the Britany Peninsular also looks amazing, Cornwall without Crowd's?

Neither did Stansted as Cook's and Tui found out to their cost..

I know thousands of Brits holiday in NW France every year, but generally a) they drive and b) they stay in campsites or in gîtes. I'm not sure what you would do there without a car.

Hire one!

I've done fly-drive and drive (towing the home on wheels) to that part of the world many times. Nice towns (Les Sables, St. Gilles, La Rochelle itself, Benodet, Quimper, Concarneau - last 3 a bit further north in southern Brittany) and great beaches, countryside.

Packed with Brits, Irish, Dutch, Germans (and a few French) during the Summer hols.

RYR and EZY aswell as BEE fly to LRH if I'm not mistaken from various points.

compton3bravo 5th May 2017 06:39

Could not agree more about the comments about La Rochelle and its surrounds. Did not see many Brits when been there - yippee! - but try to avoid late July to end of August Paris by the sea uggh! Probably Jet2 got a deal from the local Chamber of Commerce investing in tourism.

However, it might not be tech at all, perhaps something else caused it not to be operational???
