G-DRTA is due to ferry from PMI today to NWI to complete its re-configuration from Air Europa to Jet2.com. Should be ready 1 month from now all being well.

G-DRTB should only be a few weeks behind it, (ex transaero EI-RUG, 17 years old, no winglets).

Irishlad, previously reported that G-DRTB would be ex-D-AHFV and not ex-EI-RUG

Is D-AHFV still due for the airline? I see Jethro's lists this as maybe becoming G-GDHI but possibly cancelled?

After an inspection D-AHFV is no longer set to join the Jet2 fleet.

Hence they have decided to take up an option on EI-RUG instead.

EI-RUG flew into Shannon last night, assume return to flight maintenance following sitting in storage for 17 months.

G-DRTB is having its entry into service maintenance (c check) in Shannon. At the minute it isn't scheduled until the 09th April lasting until the 11th May then going for paint in EMA.

Has anyone got any info on the aircraft that are to be based at STN and when they will arrive are they new aircraft and reg if anyone knows will they be jet2 or jet2 holiday livery will we see a London or a Stansted painted aircraft ?

The first one will be GJZHW tomorrow at 18:55, brand new jet2.com livery.

GJZHU will position on Tuesday at 17:55 - holiday livery.

The next 2 aircraft aren't due until the 26th and 27th April, planned to be GJZHP on the 26th and GJZHY which will have its first revenue flight at STN fresh from the factory and the hanger.

In other news GDRTA is due to enter service 21st April.

Does anyone which aircraft will be based at BHX from Thursday ?

No 733 planned at MAN for summer but still 4 here at present but we are still in the winter programme for most flights until Easter when most of the ski flights finish (if there is any snow left)

Chaps, There was 2 foot of fresh snow on my balcony this morning at 2100m, so we will have plenty of snow till gone Easter, half expecting an e mail of 'powder in the Alps' from the ski airlines!

G-JZHO and 'HT will position there on Monday afternoon, and 'HR on Thursday afternoon.

6 plus the Titan b757 from 1st July - some days they need the b757 e.g tuesdays from memory so the Titan A320 will be used. Scheduled to be GPOWK

Summer 18 now on sale from EDI and GLA

Several of this year's new routes will start a little earlier next year.
