Page 14 of the rights issue prospectus:
If the Capital Raise does not successfully complete, the Directors expect that Administration (or equivalent local law procedures) of the Company and of certain key trading companies in the Group would be reasonably likely shortly thereafter, and Shareholders would likely lose all or a substantial part of their investment in the Company as a result.

Either way flybe or a new form of it is a hopeless endeavour. Everything is being sold off as quickly as possible and the dream of phoenix airways is nothing more than that. I cant remember who said previously about keeping on the DFO etc. The administrators need that to ferry aircraft around etc. Please dont think that there is daily meeting between ex flybe staff and EY on ceasing the selling of assets to create a new airline. alot of routes are being filled and Eatstern etc will fill more. only the strong will survive the next few years and flybe or any form of it does not even exist.
And here is the simon calder article. https://www.independent.co.uk/travel...-a9581661.html

DH8D's PL ex BHX, BB ex BHX, DP ex EXT, PA, ex EDI and OT ex MAN. all have moved or in the air,
Not going to be much left soon PH & OB showing as landed Saarbrucken in the last couple of days as well as PB
This leaves 4 x 175 and 4 x DH8D;s at BHX although OR was due to go today as well.

I am assuming these are the leased ones.
it would be interesting to know if the 20 owned ( but probably mortgaged to the hilt) are sold or still waiting a buyer.
Anyone have any knowledge on that.

More Flybe routes filled.
https://www.businesstraveller.com/bu...st-city-route/
anyone still think a new start up will be able to compete against BACF, Eastern, Logan, easy, blue islands and any others picking up the good routes.

Time this thread was moved to the historical section?

Ha. You are probably right. except a few on here think that flybe is still a going concern and this whole pesky administration thing is nothing more than temporary. many blame covid for its demise which is side splitting'ly laughable.

For a lot of us on this thread we are still mourning the loss of our jobs and lifestyle. We were on the inside of the company and could see some of the poor decisions first hand. What has happened has happened and nothing can change that now. However I would suggest that the so called humour towards flybes demise is a little insensitive towards the thousands of workers who put many years of effort to support Flybe . We feel like a family and have shown restraint towards the horrible things that have been said about Flybe. Could I suggest you set up a separate thread appropriately titled where you can voice all your negative observations of Flybe. Thank you and have a good day.

175's
Not before reporting the sad and first departure of the 175 fleet since grounding.
JE left BHX this morning and is currently heading south of France. I have flown on several 175's and enjoyed every minute on a fine aircraft and I even received a short email lesson on the economics of the aircraft from PS back in 2014 after I was extolling its virtues but he was more keen on praising the Dash 8.
3 x 175 and 3 x DH8D's left at BHX now. The latter outside the STS Hangar.
