Personally I would reject GiB as a potential new route. Very limited market especially with potential problems with Brexit and the Spanish border. Well served by easy and Monarch from Gatwick, BA from Heathrow and Monarch from Luton plus Monarch dropping Birmingham at the end of October and Malaga not too far away served by multiple daily flights, better prospects elsewhere.

Just a note on KRK, it did not fail in the conventional sense. Loads were very high and there was no evidence that giveaway fares were prevalent. That was despite the pre-07:00 departure time. Anecdotally it was said the route was actually harming EZY's LGW route, but without inside confirmation I couldn't rely on that. The long and the short of it is that there are some leisure-centric city destinations that would work from SEN, but I agree that city routes more generally seem to have been a challenge.

Not asking you to Rowly. It was Runwayman who heard it on the radio. Just though there might be a press release or something to back up their radio interview. Stobart Group are a listed company and as such any major news of increased revenues would normally be reported to the Stock Exchange - which it hasn't.

4th Aircraft/New Routes
I wonder whether we will have to wait for the announcement of new routes, at the same time saying that this will require a 4th aircraft based at SEN. Just a thought; nobody here knows (or perhaps very few).

I think the relationship suits both parties current needs very well for now. If Stobart keep 'flying the flag' for Flybe, and help them to lose a couple of aircraft they don't want, then the franchise agreement should work well for both.

I noticed today, and several previous days, one of the FlyBe aircraft seems to operate with more than one hour delay which builds up during the day. Is this a problem with the E195 or JOTA's aircraft. I don't think there are weather problems.

CGN is showing on the departures board as going today at 11:00 rather than 07:00 as it should have done. The Prague flight was the E195 according to FlightRadar 24 so it must be the Jota in trouble.

An encouraging comment from someone working at Liverpool Street on another forum:
"Such is the increased footfall through the station towards SEN that we recommend that extra coaches run direct from London to SEN when it's rail replacement."

National Rail (do you mean Network Rail?) has no jurisdiction over what replacement coaches are laid on during the periods of train disruption, all they do is close the track. It's entirely up to the TOC (Train Operating Company) what coaches are laid on to convey their passengers, so let's hope that Greater Anglia takes notice.

Before we get bogged down in discussions about trains and busses again, does anybody know which Stobart Air/FlyBe new routes from SEN are preforming well, and which ones are not?
