Should know about new routes soon. Customers will be able to fly to some new U.K. and European destinations in Winter 17 and Summer 18.
Ps I know you probably can't. Will be patient for the release.

Don't think CDG has performed as well as hoped, so not too surprised.
Seems very promising regarding Stobart/Flybe. Probably safe to say that DUB will return since that has already been leaked, maybe MAN as they applied for slots there. It will be interesting to find out. Does this mean a 3rd based aircraft is required or is it simply a case of filling in the gaps left by the summer seasonal routes? When can we expect the timetable to be released?

The CGN frequency reduction is rather old news actually. Your own post #4278 of 27th April 2017 detailed this when the Winter schedules went on sale.
Interesting to hear talk of "... some new UK destinations in Winter 17 and Summer 18." Presumably these new routes will go on sale quite soon.

More news
I’m pleased to announce an agreement has been signed with easyJet to base a fourth Airbus at LSA from summer 2018, adding new routes and frequencies to our guests from Essex and London.

Well of course it hasn't been confirmed yet, but let's hope it will be. There have been rumours of a 4th EZY aircraft returning in the near future, and it's a pretty bold statement from rowly6339 to put on this forum without actually being in the know.

This is just what I have been told. I can't for obvious reasons say what my sources are but things are moving behind the scenes.
One of the new parking stands will be a dedicated de-icing area too according to what I am hearing.

Of course it all depends on the actual detail, i.e. what these schedules look like, frequency and slot times will be critical in order to extract optimum yields. Here's hoping. But good to hear positive progress being made.

easyJet won't be basing a 4th aircraft at SEN next year. Not enough demand to sustain a 4th, particularly through the winter. You have to remember in terms of routes cancelled per year operated, SEN is the worse performing UK airport for EZY.
You also have to remember that for every route RYR currently operate, they've tried and dropped another one, and they aren't doing to bad....
The current version of SEN is very much in the development phase, and you don't know what works until you try it - at least they're giving it a go
