Alghero
Does anyone know if FR have dropped LTN - Alghero for 2015?
Im guessing 2014 was seasonal (APR-OCT)
Ive tried asking the Q on FR page and also asked the Q to @Ryanair customer service twitter account but to no avail.
Foward thanks for any replies

Whilst New York business flights would be a "nice to have", much more intriguing is talk of new domestic flights. Given the routes already in place, I can't think of any potential routes other than services to the Channel Islands and perhaps Isle of Man though the latter seems more unlikely now that Flybe are flying their ex STN. So, maybe a return to JER is on the cards??

GCI would indeed be a welcome addition. I wonder who might be persuaded to take on the route?
For JER I could see easyJet trying again, perhaps with a summer seasonal service 3-4 times a week?
IOM seems unlikely now Flybe are going there ex STN. Is there enough demand?
I can't think of any other 'domestic' routes that LTN doesn't already have? The likes of MAN, NCL etc seem like non starters. Only other thing could be more flights to the likes of EDI & GLA?

Do you have a date for when the airport's transformation will be complete?
Construction will get underway in the first quarter of 2015. The works will fall into three key phases; improvements to surface access and the exterior, inside the terminal and finally airside works. The development will be phased to minimise disruption for passengers, and we anticipate that the majority of the redevelopment will be completed by 2018.

So, 2014 will see Luton hit the 10.5 million mark which is absolutely fantastic. It really has been a great years with so much growth, new routes added and more still to come.
The future is looking very bright indeed.

easyJet Marketing - CosmopoLuton
Has anyone else noticed the huge marketing easyJet are putting into their Luton base?
Was driving out on London today, up the A1 towards Brent Cross and their was this huge digital bill board advertising easyJet and the routes they fly from Luton.
I was driving so couldn't pay as much attention as I would have liked to, but clearly remember it mention the number of routes they operate out of Luton and calling it "CosmopoLuton"!
Interesting and clever marketing.
Regardless of whether you like the marketing slogan, great to see Luton getting some attention and commitment from it's largest customer.

Creative Review - A new look for London Luton Airport
I was looking at this yesterday both airside and in the arrivals area. There was mention on a poster about a Luton Express service being started in 2017 with a travel time of under 25 minutes to St Pancras.

Is it me or have easyJet been laying on quite a few extra services over recent days to the likes to Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris and Milan, presumably to cope with additional Christmas demand?
