Bit of an unusual routing, is it picking up passengers, refuelling or what?

Grrr

Best news of the year as LTNman states. Reminder of the link below.

Spanish airport operator Aena eyes IPO this year - MarketWatch

This should enable AENA to invest in the infrastructure.

Had a discussion today about Heathrow runway 3, and easyJet.

LHR - 3 & EZY, if it did happen wouldn't it be more of a thread for LGW?

Over the years I have been convinced that a propeller type aircraft that resembles a BN Islander carries out secret surveillance over Luton, however I have not seen that aircraft for the last year or so. However at this moment an aircraft with reg: G-BVJT has been circling London about 20 times. I only noticed this as was monitoring BA's A380 as it took off and flew to the east of Luton at around 16.00 hours today.

Anybody know anything about these aircraft or is it top secret?

I have no personal knowledge but Googling G-BVJT throws up all kinds of interesting pages and links about police surveillance. Need to be careful to distinguish fact from fiction though...

Nor Leasing (does not exist on the register at Companies House) listed as the owner of G-BVJT by G-INFO seems to be a somewhat opaque organisation...

Luton is full of dodgy characters whether they be Jamaican Yardie, al qaeda sympathisers or just the general criminal underclasses that infest Luton. There is more than enough of these people to keep the boys in blue busy.

Regularly see one from the RAF, As far as I am aware its a phone stalker based in Northolt.

I remember staring directly up at the crash gate and watching it circle for a good hour or so.

You can always hear it (and regularly see it on decent days) Stops in the airport to refuel on occasion.

Jersey

Have there been any whispers on if any carriers are interested in starting a new Jersey service?

Newark??? Hehe joking aside isn't it a bit late to start selling spring/summer routes now?

I don't see us getting anything new, Maybe Wizz will pick up somewhere but it all seems rather stale and uninteresting currently.

I won't be surprised at all if 2014 passenger numbers for the airport are in excess of 10.5M
Am not sure it will be quite that high. I don't think the winter is seeing great increases. Would certainly say above 10 million though.

What ever some people may think, I am very glad to see both Stansted and Luton doing very well this year. Is great for the north of London area in general. Let's hope it continues that way.

Am I right in thinking that Wizz are also adding the A321 or have I made that up?
