Cool, Ryanair started Ragusa from STN this year which is just a volcano away from Catania. Seems like from London every part of Sicily is covered now.

LGW>Catania - BA

Anyone heard anything more about the former Aerlingusaran ATR routes.. still surprised no concrete replacement has been found. Surely the demand is there.. Someone lease a J31/Metro/Random small prop lets make some money. I kid.

CARPATAIR
Reading up on CARPATAIR on Luton's website, i see that CARPATAIR is nearly 100% owned by swiss shareholders! ironic seeing as it's one of Romania's main airlines.

Capacity expansion
I've heard that ethihad have expanded weekly flights at Manchester to a 777, so does anybody think any airlines will follow suit with a bigger plane or more flights over the christmas period?

^^If you press "edit" on your last post if you are posting consecutively and just write all your questions in 1 part I think it will save you from the hassel you are likely to get on here mate lol.
On radar 24 the Fedex did that 3 times apparently.. I guess they are testing "stuff". No idea about the rest of your questions. I Dont get your point about Carpatair being Swiss owned either. Arent Monarch owned by a Swiss chap? Whats the biggy. Confusing stuff.

As for the fedex, yeah I don't get why it did it either, must just be routine testing?

The Fedex is in for MX. That is, fixing problems and checking for potential problems. After being worked-on the aircraft has an airtest.
In this case, the airtest seems to have been a useful exercise in helping to check that a problem was fully resolved.
Good job those professionals at Monarch do things properly - I guess that's why they are attracting business from around the world.

& Air UK Leisure, Sabre, British Midland.. charter of course.
No surprise with Bedford, Hoddesdon & Bletchley so close to LTN. (Yes I realize Hoddesdon is closer to STN but its still close to LTN.)
