One minute here. On both Belfast threads you have said great to see BFS with a stand and noticable BHD don't have one. Now you know they are sharing with the tourist board and invest NI its favouritism. If you actually look at the website you told me about you would see BFS is right next door, hardly left fending for themselves and BHD is under the Northern Ireland airports stand so I'm assuming without knowing that LDY are there also. I'm really not that bothered either way but the lack of impartiality of your posts amazes me.

Think they have representatives at show, whether they have a stand I don't know
Perhaps relying on the International staff to vector visitors towards them?
Topical joke!

All joking aside though, I'm sure the Harbour marketeers are under pressure to produce something in the near future. I hope their pay doesn't rely on performance bonuses or there could be very slim pay packets coming soon!

Perhaps someone closer to the city can confirm this but there strong rumours from normally reliable sources that Aer Lingus will be departing City at the end of this summer and that BA will operate their LHR services. I believe that City management were informed this morning.

Sarcon I posted something along those lines a month or 2 ago so seems my source was correct. However what I also heard was BA was looking into BFS as it had no night curfew so it would be able to stop paying for extended opening hours at BHD which happens quite regularly, also allows them to bring in slightly larger aircraft and reduce requency to free up a few more slots for more lucrative routes

Some BA curfew-busting stats from the logs for 2016 to date. Not official, just my observations of movements after 21:30:
Winter
2x Outbound SHT88G
Summer
4x Inbound SHT86P
1x Outbound SHT88E
Not too bad compared to Flybe who can rack-up that tally in one night.

Looks like the word re crews being on notice of base closure or reduction was correct. Shows Aer Lingus's lack of commitment to the Northern Irish market

Every time Willie Walsh refers to the Northern Ireland market he never mentions which particular airfield, except in one quote when he stated " the problem with BHD is we can't fly most of our aircraft in there ". Apparently a few 767s have had a cabin refresh to extent them for a few more years. Just sayin.

Probably because Flybe offer many more flights and late evening arrivals. I would expect them to have more frequency due to the nature of their operation at BHD
Currently BA can have up to 7 flights ex BHD to LHR and EI 3.
Replace that with 3-5 (depending on day) with a 767 and that frees up a hell of a lot of slots for IAG
