I was lead to believe at first that GCEJM was sent back to the lessor and they lessed it on again to Mint, but I've read in a few places that its wet leased from GSM (more likley to be a "damp lease" don't think GSM crew are operating it), so presumably they are still making money from it.
Maybe it'll come back at a later date. I don't mean in 2/3 months to operate over winter, but in a couple years.
Regards,

Not too sure whats happened tbh, i was under the impression with the great want for 752's out there the ILFC offered GSM their new 763 at the same price as their lease of the 752. Though i could be wrong, was a shame to see it out the fleet none the less.

Thanks for that GSMSCOT will get in there quickly and book when first out and prices have usually been less expensive when they are first released and tend to go up once people start booking. We always try and book the first day they go on sale!

Globespan 18hr Delay
Anyone know of the reason for the 18hour delay on the GSM542 Tenerife-EDI flight due to arrive at midnight last night? Now estimating 18.00 Pretty much all their EDI flights today seem to be delayed for at least an hour. Palma delayed 4 hours etc....

17 hour delay on the Vancouver - Glasgow flight and a 17.5 hour delay on the Vancouver - Manchester flight today!
I thought Flyglobespan had been very good for time-keeping so far this summer!

Whilst I appreciate that driving trucks into planes is not the airlines fault (obviously) this surely can't have happened to both aircraft - the flights to Manchester and Glasgow are both delayed for 17 hours!

Looking at BAA Glasgow's arrivals page, it seem GSM964 and GSM974 have identical routings and times therefore presumably it's the same aircraft (it would be too coincidental for 2 aircraft to have same length delays on the same routing, operating at the same time). Seeing that GSM964 will end up in MAN, you have a pretty good reason why both GLA and MAN services have both got 17 hr delays!

It is indeed YVR-YYC-MAN-GLA now expected arrival 5:00Am.
Seems to be a rather nightmare day for GSM, all the European arrivals and departures seem to have some sort of delay in both GLA and EDI, have to say they have done well so far though.
Just one of those days, id imagine the EDI-TFS passengers will be pretty pissed. Id also imagine in Canada theres a slightly not liked ramp driver by both passengers and GSM lol
Anyone else noticed GLA-SFB hasnt left yet ut oh!!! Was the a/c covering YVR-YYC-MAN-GLA supposed to then cover this, If so im guessing the 763 being drafted ins priority will be that?

SFB Delay
The aircraft that was AOG in Vancouver was to operate the SFB.
G-SPNA flew up from LGW this morning to operate EDI-PMI-GLA and will then operate GLA-SFB-GLA.
Due into GLA around 17.00L and as soon as its cleaned and catered it will be off to SFB.

Scotlands No1 airline????
Nah...This airline is a 2-bit operator..charter/low-cost...who knows...it will be reduced to an ad-hoc operator in the coming years and go the way of all the other airlines of this type i.e.FlyJet...
It's days are numbered...
