Anyone know the reason why it didnt arrive on Wednesday morning? Has it arrived now?

It is due to operate EDI-NBO on Sun.

It arrived in GLA this morning and JM departed GLA at 1510 for the middle east. Not sure if on MOD work or for end of lease checks.

GSEFC also arrived back at EDI today from BCM, back in service tomorrow.

Well looks as if i was wrong, G-CEJM (for now) is gone, to an airline called Mint Airways of spain never heard of them new start up airline i believe.

Well at least the fleet is standardised with 737NG'S and 763's. Think they will keep one on W09?

How old is the new 763?

"new"

But hey, as long as they fly

Good that they got rid of the older 733. I'll be flying GSM in May and happy to know it will be one of the newer 737NG.

Think if they did keep on a 763 W09 we would posibly see a W pattern such as MAN-GLA-SFB or LGW-GLA-SFB?
1x or 2x weekly basis.

Think theres much possibility of any other routes?

Interesting

Have never flown with Globespan and dont know alot about them, but the fleet mix, allocation, comings and goings documented on here are fasinating. It must be the most interesting carrier in the UK.

Reminds me alot of Dan air in the 70's

Keep it coming

G-SPNA looking rather sexy parked up on the stand today. Looks like someone polished it nose to tip with a toothbrush!

Just a shame about the ,yet again, non standard font/livery. Surely they could all be uniform....would be much more professional. Yet to see a non standard Air France, KLM, even Ryanair.

I suspect it will spend most of it's career flying passengers for someone other than flyglobespan on ACMI.

Aircraft swap due to a tech issue on scheduled aircraft - not sure of what the issue was though.

The replacement had to position from Paderborn in Germany, having operated an MOD flight from BZZ to PAD this morning!

That is a long delay - hope we can recover it!

Think we might see a GLA - SSH?

In my opinion long haul during winter is too unprofitable to be kept on in a recession, believe they will stick with and emphasise their "mid haul" egypt routes and drop SFB until summer.
