From what I know, there is a 737-800 on full time standby this summer usually based at MAN or LGW depending on day but it is most already being used elsewhere... There are also various days/times of the week other aircraft will be parked awaiting later flights/scheduled maintenance, to help give a little bit of flexibilty to the busy summer schedule. Luckily today you will have G-OBYF, which will be on its way from LGW shortly.
They really are having no luck with that Canadian registered aircraft this summer are they!!!

EMA - CFU
Hi all,
Does anyone know what aircraft is used on EMA - CFU Fridays 0650, i believe it serves a "W Route" with EMA-CFU-LBA-CFU-EMA.
Flew EMA - RHO earlier in the Summer, and had a great flight on board a 737-800, and was hoping for the same aircraft.
Cheers Guys

one of the Sunwing B738s operating this summer is leased from TOM......
this arrangement will not go away, with TUI having 49% ownership of Sunwing Vacations, aircraft and crew will for the foreseeable future be swapped between Europe and Canada bu season. Winter 2011/12 there's Thomson, Jetairfly and TUIfly aircraft all heading to Canada, in addition to the non-TUI aircraft from Travel Service.

A few question about tomorrow night's flight to Dalaman from MAN (I think she said 20.30 departure). A friend of mine is on the flight and would like some info.
* Reg
* 757 or 767?
* I take it the aircraft she will be flying on will first be doing other flights earlier on in the day, so these evening flights you might say have more chance of a departure delay incase of a late arrival from there earlier flights etc?

Should be operated on the 757. Exact registration isn't known until tomorrow. You could say the later in the day the flight is, the more chance it has to build up delays throughout the day - the flight before Dalaman arrives from Heraklion so you could always check to see if this is operating on time to give you some indication on whether the Dalaman will leave on time.
As charter in the Summer is virtually 24 hours i'm not sure whether it makes any difference what time the flight is. A day DLM dep at 0800 could easily be delayed by an inbound overnight LPA that is scheduled to arrive at MAN at 0630
