Who thinks TOM MAK ex GLA will get canned now with the EZY announcement? TOM have a habit of launching and pulling again.

Where's MAK or did you mean RAK( Marrakech ). Don't see why it would be canned if the loads are good. If they are not why would they operate it?

Bristol- Summer 15.

Anyone have any idea what is based at Brs next summer yet, rumoured to be 3 a/c (possibly 3 738's or a mix of 757 and 738) there has been an increase in destinations next year anounced earlier by Thomson, 36-38 flights per week

BRS Summer 2015

Latest suggests Summer 2015 will be the same as Summer 2014 for BRS, two 757s. I would guess additional flights will be operated by a third party. However, as always, things are subject to change!

I notice this year Gatwick has no SH 767's based there, although I am sure it has always had at least one in previous years?

Thanks, that does make sense, although it seemed odd that MAN has two SH 767's while LGW has had none for much of the summer I must say!

Odd in what way? Maybe they feel they are better utilised in Manchester

I'm not doubting TOM's decision making but LGW is their largest base, and has plenty of routes which would support something larger than a 757 even outside of the school holidays. I would also have thought they would have done so due to there being less direct charter competition from TCX, who are a fair bit bigger at MAN than at LGW. It obviously works for them, I just find it a little unusual

Leases on at least two have been extended until 2019, not sure which frames, will probably be the ex-tfly ones as they are newer and have more flexibility in configuration.

G-OBYH - November 2019
