It for all to say and see.

What is it with the need of people to post such utter rubbish DAVYDAY? You are obviuosly very ill informed. Come back with some hard facts, or please do not post here.

Excuse me. The information I posted ,as confirmed, was factual.

When I arrived at Edi on Tuesday night and met a friend from GSP HQ
they told me and were wondering what was going on.
Like all of us at the moment in the industry (for all our jobs)

This site is for sharing information ,which has been confirmed by the airline and a valid reason given.

The conversation ended with me informing them not to worry and ask the question.

I will not post anything that is untrue or scare mongering
However, I shall post if it is of interest to the PPRUNE network
or even at times requires provocative action to get a honest reply.
Which I am sure has done on this occasion.

I have no reason whatsoever to imply or doubt Globespan future they seem to have a clear focus in where they want to be.and I wish them
every success.

People need to get on with their lives. this network to many of us that fly rely on information being passed to each other and have done for a very long time.

Davy.

Jet2 EDI-IBZ doesn't start till May S09.

Why are GSM leasing a 752 from Astraeus to operate flights from Birmingham-Amristar for a month or 2 is it for this new airline?

Think its a charter on behalf of another company, but because we are using all our 76s elsewhere we need our own 75 for going accross the pond.

If only they could secure the lease for couple of years instead of months

1 more 752 and a couple of new 737NG'S would go down great!

Remember what happened last time we leased a 757? once bitten twice shy lol.

Something must be in pipeline though with regards to new aircraft, selling 4 600s in a year..and with our programme in S09 we need um!!!!

You know your stuff Gaz, i was under the inpression that we were only going to lease AC and provide CC for it? As we in ops havent been asked to do any routes yet as that would be AUS job?

Glad to hear that the rumours of last night have proven untrue.

Does anyone know why the SFB-GLA is running late the past couple of days?

gerry,

the SFB-GLA flight is due to leave in roughly 2 1/2 hours from right now which is 1 1/2 hours later than scheduled.

So taking this into account I would hazard a guess that your flight (with all things going according to plan) will depart Gla sometime around 1PM.

Remember though the flight could cacth up time coming back over the atlantic-Just all depends on weather conditions.

Have a nice time in Florida.
