The only longhaul ex CWL for TOM is the winter cruise program which commences in november. CWL based cabin crew have always operated these routes apart from last winter due to some ex fca a/c operating these and crew not being able to operate on these a/c until May 1st,also crew available to operate these due to shorthaul program and training requirements etc. CWL crew will be operating these again from the winter as confirmed by a memo from MD concerning regional crews operating their own long haul as long as crewing levels at that base are satisfactory to cover the shorthaul also.

TOM
Just as a further kick in the b***s to CWL - just noticed that TOM have THREE 757's operating out of BRS within the hour on Friday afternoon!
With that and the long haul issue its very clear what TOM think of CWL and the deal they obviously getting at BRS.

It's a wonder that KLM are still flying into CWL - I flew with them last month and the loads were less than 50% on both legs, and they were peak-time flights early morning and late evening! I know that most people are feeding into KLM's long-haul market ex-AMS but they can't be making any money on the route.

Winter Timetable Out for BE.
BHD- 9 rotations a week to 7. Loss of double rotation on a Monday and a Thursday.
EDI- Stays at 14 rotations a week. Just varitaion of the times, with increase in early flights at 7:00am 5 times a week.
GLA- Stays at 12 rotations a week. Similar to EDI with flights leaving at 7:00am but early afternoon flight back instead of evening.
NCL- 5 rotations a week to 3. Loss of flights on friday and a saturday and change in times.
CDG- Stays at 12 with later times on arrivals and departures.
Loss of 4 flights a week but some flights seem to have better times i.e. much earlier in the morning. ABZ ain't been released yet.

have TOM upgdraded the old FCA 752 interious to the old BY look? Last time I flew on an FCA cabin finish was 'colourfull' and shabby! Not wot ex CWL customers have come to expect!
Not yet another insult - let them eat cake??!!!!

Just looking at the Flybe website, I can't find any 0700 departures ex Cardiff. There are early flights from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Cardiff as at present, and the aircraft on GLA-CWL operates the CWL-CDG-CWL as it does right now. Where are the flights to suggest that there is a base at CWL from this winter?

I have noticed the same unless somone with inside info knows there is one based aircraft at CWL and that times will either change or will expect some new routes.

Croatia Airlines flight OU1508 arrived from Dubrovnik today - can't see it on the timetable at all though, and wasn't listed on the arrivals section of the CWL website. Anyone know if it's a one-off or regular flight, and when will it go home?
