The jersey flight on a saturday used to be operated by a BA Connect dash 8 before flybe took them over. The service is operared by some holiday company called airways holidays. It's not actually a flybe route.

yea it is getting pretty busy especially with more heavies and t/a flights. maybe this will encourage some bigger airlines-delta/emirates?-glasgow got virgin as a charter service. I think skyservice are operating air transat flights, its a codeshare thing. Still an extra 2 757's every week!

B.757 of Titan did the BMA9341 into BFS at lunchtime today. I assume this was a continuation of the BMi fleet shortage probs?
The aircraft looks like it's hanging around.... perhaps to help out TCX with their big-delayed Zakynthos arrival and subsequent delayed Antalya departure. What happened there? Aircraft tech?

Hope the pax are not hanging around ZTH..that is one Airport I wouldn't fancy spending too much time in, standing room only in the Dep lounge despite a shiny new terminal.

Going to be a delay on the GSM SFB flight as it was late arriving at GLA because of unscheduled maintenance before leaving SFB yesterday.
Do both of TCX flights go via BFS from GLA or is it just 1 of the flights?

3 orlando flights in 1 morning!?
As far as I am aware (today Fri) there is only 2. GSM 767, TCX A330. The other ones across the pond are a CO 757 (NWK) and a 757/767 Zoom to Toronto but its later in the day. Both Orlando flights originate in Glasgow. The Zoom flight comes from Manchester.

There where actually 3 flights to Orlando today. 2 TCX and 1 GSM. A TCX 330 and GSM 767 both came in from GLA and an additional TCX 330 came in from Gatwick. Today 15:30
Excellent what time did the LGW arrive at, was it an early morning arrival/departure, as I was at Aldergrove this morning from 09.30 - 10.15 saw the delayed CO arrive and the GLA TCX A330, missed the GSM as it was delayed the only other arrival was the delayed TCX A320 from that Greek island beginnig with 'z'. I saw 2 Sanfords on the departures board and kind of assumed I knew what they were (gsm/tcx) didn't really read the flight numbers. Looking out this morning from the viewing gallery there wasn't a lot of activity as it was after the morning rush. But it looked like the scene after a battle, with stair flights, push back trucks, baggage conveyors parked all over the apron and not a person or plane around. You just sensed that there was a big tea break taking place somewhere before the next rush. The apron looks a right mess and with all those road markings all over the show it looks like a school playground with pretend road layouts. That place is crying out for a middle pier, where the old one use to run.

Some of you folk who are workers at BFS and get an opportunity to dart about the place, could any of you take a few snaps of the big boys parked on the international pier today like a group shot.

See from the Flybe winter timetable that Bhd will see severe reductions on most routes. Also, they seem to now be offering connecting flights, say Bhd - Bhx - XXX, on one ticket/booking. Will they be guaranteeing connections with this and if so, does that not go against the idea of keeping costs down. If it is like back to the old system of connections, they will be about the only airline out of Belfast to offer that, could be good for them.

WizzAir
Would appear that winter 08 seats on sale for WizzAir BFS to Warsaw, twice a week. However Katowice still not bookable...
Belfast must've been one of the last routes to be put on sale, was seriously thinking it could've been bye bye Wizz from BFS. Hopefully Katowice will come on sale soon.
What about Jet2 flights for the winter. Would appear that only LBA and weekly Chambery are on sale. Is that going to be it for BFS??, huge reduction on last year if that is the case surely.
As much as I hate to think it, could be a bad spell for BFS this winter, all the domestic EZY figures are down, some considerably according to CAA stats. Will EZY reduce capacity considerably on domestics as rumoured?? Will bmibaby be reducing frequencies and/or pulling Cardiff?? Also noted that Zoom Toronto on sale for the winter but no Vancouver..
Hopefully CO EWR will be safe.

Jet2 are dropping Blackpool and Barcelona for the winter.
Barcelona is due back for peak summer 09, wonder will we see Blackpool back??
Probably for the best BCN is being dropped, to give realistic and sustainable capacity, but still competition between EI and EZY. Pity its LS off the route though, as they initiated it from BFS. Just like when they pulled Prague after Easyjet's entry, yet it was LS who started that route also...
