The flights you have stated are all the ones being pulled as far as I'm aware, shows the extent of the loss!! Did you get your information from the 1st edition summer brochure? This programme has been completely altered! Check on-line booking engines or local travel agent!

Since this brochure was printed many flight details have changed, including the pulling of all the bmi's, the Saturday tui to Las Palmas has gone, replaced with tui only Wednesday flight, no TC summer Gran Canaria, amongst others. Unfortunately that means loss of Corfu and summer Fuerteventura, and big reduction in capacity.

Forward bookings must have been BAD! This is after statements having us believe that summer 2009 wasn't too bad on the holiday flight front, and alleging that people from the ROI helped keep numbers up due to favourable exchange rate.

Think the Icelandair is going to be a regular feature instead of the TNT

Belfast/Dublin

Guys,

If you think the IT down turn in BFS was bad or is to be worse next year if DUB is anything to go by and i think is realavant here, as i work in Dub and know how many folks from up north travel on IT flights from here, god help us all!!!

In Dublin for example MON gone for W09 and possiblly S10, S09 down graded from 1 A300 and 2 757 to 3 A321, TOM S10 downgraded from 757 to 320 and possibly down to 737. No MYT flights S09, and nearly all operators only operating full programm from mid June until late September, and yes b4 you all start i Know the FR/EI effect to Sun routes but taking all those factors into account, the future for the entire Island regarding next summer is not looking too good upturn/downturn euro/pound value etc etc etc, but we do have an awfully sexy new terminal for all the no existant airlines to use and some very not usefull double air bridges!!!!!

Re Dublins new term, would be a good idea to demolish the old terminal in Dublin while demand is low and get rid of it for good?

There looks like there will be some minor tweaking for the BHD-based FR crew from March, with room for some sector from/to PIK. There's just under three hours available.

FR 1437 dep. BHD 10:55 arr. PIK 11:40
FR 1436 dep. PIK 14:35 arr. BHD 15:20

I assume the times require some tweaking, or the flights are in zulu time. For next summer first STN has departure time of 07.30 rather than 06.30, and last flight out to STN is 21.45, after the curfew.

Scrub what I wrote above. Now appears as current schedule, and as BFS101 points out, one hour off. I should wait until FR finalise things before taking an unhealthy interest

So sorry boys and girls, looks like the six sector 05.30 start still stands

surely the busiest day of the year for both BHD and BFS is one of the few days leading up to xmas?... students, families, people heading back to their native country for xmas...

EZY's winter schedule is due to start on Sunday, apparently during the afternoon and evening there could be up to 7 EZYs on the ground at once

super, airport reckon 10500 pax tomorrow so where th f**k are we going to park our cars as the staff/short term car park is already nuts with people driving round in circles and then abandoning their cars due lack of spaces. usual lack of facilities (and don't start me on lack of staff)!

BFS, EDI, GLA & LTN are the only ones finalised, all other bases/stations once all the bases/stations that BFS has flights to are finalised then the schedule will be complete and the domestics will fully appear

if that makes sense

AGP and FAO will operate 2x daily on selected days in summer 2010 its about time EZY realised that they can do more than 1 a day on certain sun destinations from BFS in summer

I saw a Titan 757 on approach to Belfast Internation this morning it was about 1230. Does anybody know who that is operating for? I notice EZY have a big delay on BFS NCE, is it for that or is that due to weather (Nice) or technical fault?

EI-BUD,

This was a military charter flight from Akrotiri. Titan usually operate the flights from Akrotiri!

i would put my money on either a technical fault (seeing as it hasnt left BFS yet) or positioning certain aircraft for the winter schedule which kicks off tomorrow when EZY base aircraft will be reduced to 5

Theres been different dates thrown about to be honest i dont think EZY know themselves... first one will arrive late November/December... as for how long it takes, well, hopefully they will be finished by March 2010... all i can say is there will definately be an a319 base aircraft at BFS by the end of the year
