LCY is a key route to IOM and in the event that EMX were no longer able to operate it, there is always the possibility VLM could increase their activity on the route.

I know the signs are there, but im guessing:
GCDFF did the 723/4 and 603/4 today, therefore would of been sat on the deck since 1240
OEHBB would of done the 801/2 707/8 421/2/3/4
and EIREI would of done the rest. I did hear there was a big delay on the outbound 727/8, thats where REI may of been going.
Just my thoughts on that one.
If there really is a problem behind the scenes, JS really needs to say something. If there is, he isn't really thinking of his staff is he!
Wish all the staff well, whatever happens!

Early morning rotations missing from the schedule 'cos it's a bank holiday; hence presumably a reasonable plan to operate with two aircraft. Wasn't their fault fog stopped most aircraft landing with only a couple of gaps, finaly clearing later in the afternoon.
Why does everyone have a go at EMX often for no real reason?
(Although we pax and the staff would love some certainty - had bookings with both EMX and BE back to the island on Saturday.....)

According to the online booking facility there are no seats to/from MAN tomorrow (Wednesday), which suggests another day's schedule is wiped out.
They were still ready to take my money for Thursday though...........

HBC is usually replaced by another aircraft (we've seen the Aurigny ATR last week) but this week there's nothing. Presumably the loads are now so low combining or cancelling flights is the only option.
Sadly I fear that the rumour mill is now herding pax to BE. I have had calls from friends/co-workers asking what I know (as little as everyone else in truth) because they have forward bookings with EMX or about to book travel. Without a statement from the company it is difficult to offer reassuring messages. I'm about to book flights to London next week. I would often choose EMX, but because of the uncertainty I shall be booking BE.
Who knows? Maybe a white knight will make a substantial investment and EMX will continue. But I suspect that given the current uncertainty in the airline business generally that is unlikely.
I wish all you EMXers the best whatever happens.

My company uses EuroManx and I have been told that they requested some assurances from them regarding forward bookings. As I understand nothing has been forthcoming all bookings must now be made with BE until an announcement is made by EuroManx. I won't repeat the current rumour doing the rounds as it does no-one any good - especially those who rely on the airline to make a living.
My very best wishes go out to all the EuroManx staff - you've always been a pleasure to fly with.

When manangement act like this, (presumably because there is some kind of pay off involved) it really is sad. Whatever you think about Euromanx as a business (and it has never really made financial sense) the employees have always tried to make it work as an airline. Leaders should lead by example, they have a duty of care to their employees, whatever agreement has been made by you personally you should talk to them, and not slink away. At the end of the day you have to sleep at night, and look in the mirror every morning.

No seats available to/from MAN for tomorrow, so presumably another day of cancellations and delays is on the cards.
I've always felt a bit sorry for JS as he inherited a basketcase of a company from his father and EMX seem to be fighting an unequal battle, but the way they are treating the public at present is a disgrace.
It's clear something is badly wrong and it's a little surprising the local media aren't asking some more searching questions, or at least telling the public about the level of disruption which is happening at present, so anyone thinking of travelling can make an informed choice.
