The Clue here is in the name of the forum Rumour Network !

Whilst the MODS delete some posts containing absolute complete B****cks

There may still be some other posts that still contain some B****cks ??

Regarding next years flights out of BOH, You know it's happening when it pulls up on the stand, before that it really is just rumours ( especially with FR ) as all regular customers will no doubt appreciate.

There are a few bookable routes with Ryanair in February - the usual suspects, Canaries, Malaga, Alicante etc.

Still think Palmair missed a trick by not changing themselves into a 'Ryanair with benefits'. Sell seats not holidays, cut the one extra cabin crew, no meal, no allocation (another person saved). Could of made a bob or two on oldies going to warmer climes for winter but I suppose they got REALLY stung last year and need to save themselves.

Palmair Saving Themselves

Spot on Pottwiddler.

Not just Palmair, but most of the Private Sector, not sure Mr Cameron's plan will work with the whole country battening down the hatches, then massive unemployment from all the spending cuts.

Doesn't bode well for the Aviation Sector, with BOH now becoming a prime example of what will happen in many regional airports.

Also looks like Ryanair will be making cuts all over Europe, what will they do with all the A/C ( new ones arriving ) and no resale market !

With the aircraft will go its name (Spirit of Peter Bath), I'll bet he's turning in his grave after all his efforts keeping a "Palmair" aircraft going.
Can Bath Travel really maintain their traditional service on a Thomas Cook (or whoever) flight?

'surely management has got to do something about this'

Management are presumably limited to how much they can attract to Bournemouth, they can't force an airline to operate can they? If you have any ideas then let them know!

Thanks for the Daily Echo link, I'm somewhat bemused about the CEO's comments about FR's "ruthless" negotiators. If FR can negotiate deals, under the terms of BOH's CAA Public Use Aerodrome Licence they have to offer the same to other operators. Condition 1 of their licence requires that the aerodrome is "available to all persons on equal terms and conditions". Are the CAA turning a blind eye to other such aerodromes in the UK where the "ruthless" negotiators have been at work?

HUY and BOH

Sounds like a failed Humberside business strategy trying to be pushed down BOH's throat.

BOH is and always will be a leisure airport, highly seasonal and low cost carrier in nature.

Trying to go after business and/or hub routes is quite frankly suicide for BOH. SOU has it covered.
