I thought that when they launched the roulette it was to be weekly and that it was in addition to other promotions- that was what was in the press release at the time.

One of the promos is discounts off lots of routes, the other is route specific.

I've not had any emails today about other promotions.. the last was on the 20th October.

It'll be nice to see the next developments in the examinership last I read was that most creditors had agreed to it..

Arann have been well late into Ronaldsway every day this week. Is it just bad luck or have some airframes been swapped about. We still have the Do 328 on LCY which has been oK so far but didnt like the X winds this morning on taxy. Wont like it later with 45 knots gusts forecast tonite.. another light breeze on Fraggle Rock.

I thought Arann said two months ago they wanted to raise €10m to exit examinership. If they've only raised €3.5m no wonder the judge isnt inclined to allow it to go through. She has a sworn duty to uphold the law and the law states she can only approve it if she is convinced it will survive after examinership.

examinership and fares

Lots of people here are expressing the view how aer arann can continue with only 3 million of a cash injection...they own nearly 20 million...the nunmers dont add up and you dont need to be an accountant to work that out..

I got a ticket for my girlfriend to fly sligo dublin at the weekend...i booked it 3 hours before the flight and the plane was empty!!!!
I know the pso keeps it going but she said there were only 3 people on the flight by the time it took off...talk about making a loss...
The flight was still 133 euros return...it was too much and the fares seem to be going up..or is my imagination....

I did a return trip on Dublin Sligo and the plane wasn't empty either time. Loadfactors seemed to be 25-50%. I thought the whole point of the PSO is to absorb any potential operational losses in order to ensure the service is provided at no loss to the carrier to the pre-defined conditions.

I got the route for €60 return about 2 weeks in advance.

But in light of the proposed new investment, the judge said she was adjourning the company's bid to secure the court approval of the scheme to Wednesday.

RTE reports this evening that the High Court has approved the scheme for RE leaving Examinership.
They also say that this paves the way for 2.5m Euros of new investment.

New backer 'to invest to ?2.2m into Aer Arann' | BreakingNews.ie

The High Court has heard a new investor will pump €2.2m into Aer Arann if it successfully exits examinership.

The airline, which is insolvent with debts of €29m, is fighting for its survival.

The examiner’s projections show Aer Arann can return to profitability over the next two years.

€3.5m of new investment is to be pumped into the airline, €2.2m of that will be spent on paying off the company’s debts.

This involves a substantial writing down of what is owed by the company.

A third party Tim Kilroe Jnr plans to invest a further €2.2m.

But the Revenue Commissioners which are due more than €1.1m remain dissatisfied and believes they are getting far more unfavourable treatment than other creditors.

It is for the court to decide whether there is evidence to show the company has a reasonable prospect of survival.

Won't the new investment bringing an additional €3m or have I read this wrong, in addition to the Stobart investment?

Is the investor connected with Eastern Airways? Air Kilroe points to their website, a similar regional turboprop operator.
