No problem.

It is, it will probably get replaced soon. EI-SLN has been based at SNN for a while recently as well. I'm not too sure if it has interior refit yet.

Yeah EI-EHH is operating out of SNN today and ORK based EI-REI should be visiting later today on the EDI run.

Been a while since I have been on EHH - not sure if it has been refitted? From memory probs about a year ago, the cabin was one of the better ones of the 42's but with cloth seats and new carpet

Was on the first faro flight. .very nearly full. Only spotted 4 or 5 empty seats . Flying back tomorrow. With all due respect to ei staff, some of the cabin crew on that flight could do with a personality transplant. Costs nothing to be civil to paying customers

File a complaint, it's the only way this sort of carry on will be eliminated.

Hi all, I heard recently that pre US immigration at SNN has been scrapped? Well, at least for EI flights "due to their summer timetables". Is this true? Is it just for EI flights but still in place for other carriers?

It closes slightly earlier than it used to, so the likes of BA3 doesn't preclear anymore. EI flights should do.

Seems strange that the later BA JFK flight doesn't preclear anymore. Isn't preclearing one of the main reasons why people use this Route ?

The later flight still has the attraction of a departure from LCY. Plus the real benefit from this service is the return JFK to LCY nonstop. The USCBP preclearance was only ever an added bonus.

Helvetic Airlines will begin a weekly charter flight to Zurich from Saturday and will operate until 24 August. Charters to Zurich have operated before but didn't run last year.

Aer Lingus Regional Winter 2013/2014

Aer Lingus Regional have put there W13/14 on sale. SNN will have an ATR 42 based for the Winter.

SNN-EDI will also operate on the SNN based aircraft instead of the Cork based aircraft. The SNN based aircraft won't be operating the NOC-BHX rotation. SNN-BHX operates in the afternoon next Winter instead of mid morning.

Some routes still not on sale it would seem, BHX-DUB and BHX-NOC not on sale as of yet. The ATR42's still hanging on for winter! From what I know 42's have been at SNN over the quieter months this winter.

The AAIU have published a report today on the incident that happened at SNN Airport with an Aer Lingus Regional aircraft (EI-SLM) in July 2011.

It's just the Cork & SNN routes that are on sale. My guess is NOC-BHX will be operated by a DUB based aircraft. The DUB schedule hasn't been finalised.

SNN had an ATR72 based from the end of October until the 7th of January this year. An ATR42 was based in Shannon from the 8th of January until the end of the W12/13 season. EHH has been in and out SNN since the start of the S13 season. It is based in SNN now.

Seems to be lots of chopping and changing all the time - friend of mine flew BHX-NOC last week on either REI or REH not sure which.
