SNN-LHR-SNN Schedule after 31MAR13

I see Aer Lingus have updated their schedule on the SNN-LHR-SNN route quite a bit from the usual times. Very interesting. Aer Lingus - Timetables

Saw this over on boards:

, Ryanair will announce new routes from Shannon in the coming weeks and yesterday they said they were looking at opening a maintenance base at Shannon.
Its also speculated that SNN-JFK with EI will not operate year round but a daily BOS will. Then the second 757 will offer the daily JFK for around 8 months per year.

I haven't got any information on who's going to take over DUB-PMI just yet. We will more than likely know the airline that is gunna take over the DUB-PMI route within the next few weeks.

Orbest Orzonia (Portugal) could take over the route as they have taken over a lot of routes that Iberworld were suppose to operate for Thomas Cook UK.

Did anyone here anything on Transaero and PIA lately?

Been very quiet the past few months since the rumour/tenders were created.

PIA seem to be having a few issues at the moment. Their upgrade to LBA flights has been reversed, and the JFK flights were upgraded to a B777-300ER but keeping the MAN stop for the summer season.

Two wet leased 757s based in SNN

Aer Lingus will be wet leasing 2x 757 aircraft to based at SNN in 2014, this will enable year round Atlantic operation. Also 1x 757 to be based in DUB.

Surprised by that gives some competition to Aer Lingus' route between Cork and Nice although very in-direct competition. I see DUB-MPL has also appeared.

If Munster beat Harlequins in the Heineken Cup Quarter final on Sunday ,they will be playing away in south of France in the Semi Final , hence the flights from Shannon and Dublin in the Ryanair booking system.
