BE have further cut SNN-GLA to 2 weekly from December before the break in the new year, 2 weekly also only returning until the summer schedule when the third weekly is back. Will be surprised if it stays for summer 14 with the changes at BE.

I thought they would keep it at three a week for the winter to try to let the route develop, the fact that they haven't suggests they've already given up on it. On the one occasion I flew the route the load was under thirty and that was a Sunday, so I expect the Wednesday bookings for the winter were especially low. However I suspect this may not be the only Irish flybe route dropped as part of the upcoming restructure of the airline.

Fantastic news regarding RE! I wonder how much USA transit passengers they hope to attract? A quick expedia search for New York and Boston flights during the summer months reveals that EI are indeed very competitive at BHX and BRS, whilst not so much at MAN.

The MAN issue is that for the SNN route, the only selling points are BOS and the pre-clearance, as MAN has quite a large Trans-Atlantic offering.

RE : GLA
Not one bit surprised. The route, and the airline had absolutely zero presence in the region. A complete unknown.for most people and there was little promotion done on the route locally imo.

Is SNN the only place this is happening with FR? 4500 seats over 2 weekends for free for a 40 minute flight to meet Santa. Good PR move.

Might be wrong but when they released those schedules a while back I thought it was six weekly at the beginning? In any event if it wasn't demand must be slightly higher with the increased frequencies.
