United service to Chicago

Good news indeed. It will run from June-August, during the peak tourist season.

The Chicago flights are to replace the extra EWR ones during the summer so it will around 2 possibly 3 extra flights weekly.

United are going to a lot of effort to make this route happen.

Going to say PHL or ATL but think PHL with a 757 is most lightly. Good news if ture.

Things are looking up at last. All these routes were lost at the end of the boom so maybe theres a message there too.
Rumour in the midwest is that Ryanair will announce a new deal with the new Management at SNN in the near future and will base more than a couple of aircaft there.

Can't see it going above the peak number of 6 based before. If ture wonder what it will do to NOC as lets be honest NOC success is only down to SNN losses.

Hope SNN managment know what they are doing though..

I woudl say 3 + the current based 1 and reopen the likes of FAO, KRK, GRO, BVA, BGY and some UK services and increase AGP and PMI etc.

Still good to see positive news but I wonder if there will be conditions on routes in partiular ones EI regional serve.

SNN will split from the DAA very soon and it will be run by people in the mid west.

Same could be said about ORK/KIR but it was mostly NOC.
