Correct Gazmo
They actually flew off with luggage still in the hold from the inbound flight.
It's like a comedy show.

It could only happen in Derry!!!....shouldn't laugh but it is like a comedy show.......unload the luggage then upload the new luggage......not difficult
I'm sure there are a few red faces at LDY.
Wonder if all the luggage arrived in Alicante?

Certainly doesn't look smart for the airport or Ryanair but there is always the much trumpeted fast turn around that MoL 'encourages" his crews to consider so it may not be entirely CoDA's fault after all they do what the flight crew ask.
Mind you, you would expect that arriving passengers would have some luggage to unload and that someone on the ground would have noticed sooner.

Exactly what happened to me in Heathrow on the 30th June, BFS/LHR and bags in international baggage claim, just under an hour to get them and left it very tight for my connecting flight.

Makes you wonder how this could happen at an airport where this was probably the only aircraft being unloaded for several hours.
It should be easy for the council to get the money invested in the airport back. The government has listed airports as "brown field sites" and can be built on without the need for planning permission.

ALC is not bookable yet but is still listed as a destination. It was like that last year for a while so hopefully it is not significant.
