CabinCrewe.

January loads were 114 pax/61% l/f.(thanks to Olten Petes stats)
I am guessing that the Friday flight is the busiest or perhaps it is continuing onto ATQ.

Nigel.

True, but it looks like July/August will see EK77W,UA752,AA752,HU763,TOM788,and T5 77L possibly all on the ground together on Fridays.
Best long haul line up ever @ BHX

A correction to the above post, the EK flight starts in August.
T5 are as about as reliable as AI for time keeping so it is possible that all the above flights could be in together.

BHX-BOD.

Yes agree think its the best, probably only the 80s close, when we had AA 767, BA 767, Worldways Tristar, Air Canada Tristar and Wardair 747.

They are having to reconfigure stands 58,59,60 to get larger planes onEnd stand 61 is sacrificed. Be interesting to see what they can take when finished.

[all the above flights could be in together]

Can you imagine the scrum at arrivals, never mind the chaos in the car park opposite.
It is bad enough now when a couple arrive together, never mind a shed load of long haul arrivals.

S15 Charters

More changes, this time to the Saturday Salzburg flights. Estonian have been dropped and replaced by Flybe. So there are now two Flybe Embraer flights to Salzburg on Saturday afternoons, one for the Thomson group and the other one for Inghams

Germanwings / Eurowings

HAM-BHX and DUS-BHX flights for winter 2015/16 now bookable. No changes, i.e. HAM-BHX continues as per this winter's timetable 4/7.

Change to flight number though, "EW" for the new Eurowings taking over from Germanwings (ironically in BHX op. by Eurowings anyway...).

Plenty of £50 return availability on above routes ex BHX, or when starting from Germany even £43.50 returns (60 Euros).

There is speculation mounting that T5 are going to be offering an onward destination from BHX(ie JFK/YYZ).This may tie in with the early arrival time.
If I remember correctly they were going to offer a Toronto service via Riga, but I am not sure if that has actually happened.
The plot thickens!!

The Friday 772 flight arrives at BHX at 04.10 and departs at 05.40 !

I think you are right onwards to US / Canada is looking likely.

Emirates

I have noticed that the new third daily 41/42 flight times have been changed. Someone has finally noticed that there will be no stand available until later in the morning! The times are now 07:50/09:40, originally it was 07:10/09:10

Qatar at Brum

Great news about a new china route ... i was wondering if there is any chance that American will deploy a better plane than the 757 into Brum this summer?

Also, any news on Cathay or Qatar finally coming to Birmingham at any time soon?

Let's walk before we start thinking about running! The 757 is the best equipment for the job, at least for the time being. If AA find themselves selling seats in enough quantity, with enough yield - especially relating to filling premium seats, then perhaps they might consider offering larger equipment, with both more passenger, and just as important, cargo capacity - but to be honest, I think that would be a pipe dream rather than anything else at this stage.
