Given that they have seen their Swedish colleagues screwed over I doubt they will wish to acquiesce.

A happy coincidence that their Union is affiliated to PARAT, as is NPU, the Core Pilots Union in Norway.

They have just made this offer but to be fair it's not worth the paper it's written on. Nobody will sign it IMHO. The Finnish union are all over this and the HEL guys are up for a fight as are the core guys.

Management have got a battle on their hands. Absolutely no question about that.

Cabin Crew failed to reach an agreement during mediation, Danish "action" delayed to allow further mediation, but expect some "action" in the Norwegian bases soon.

Not only did they fail to reach an agreement the Board of Directors then sent out an inflammatory text to the cabin crew, beggars belief why they would do such a thing after just reporting a 21% drop in yield.

Just to rub salt in the wounds it was sent out at 22:30L or so, thereby ensuring everyone waking up for an "early" would get a good nights sleep & arrive at work "rested & fit".

NASPA (the Finnish Union/Association ) have today responded to the "offer" presented to HEL pilots.

With 98% membership, the fairly succinct "thanks but no thanks" they sent should be fairly easy for The Bear to interpret.

I wonder how management will interpret aeroplanes not pushing back?That day is coming very soon IMHO.

The crew room I was in this morning had a lot of angry people in it.

A company that cant guarantee an honest pay for an honest days of work doesnt have the right to exist, period..

With European Pilots unfortunately it is probably a safe bet.

I did hear 4th hand that they were stunned by the lack of response and stated that they had no idea that this involved a 30% pay cut or indeed what the current terms and condition of based pilots were??? beggars believe, but i guess the union is now close to 100%?

kungfu panda, that is spot on, unfortunately :( The NAS pilots had their chance in May 2012, with a very similar situation as the current one with the CCs. ECA union pilots had their backs (as well as many others), but they (NAS union) caved because of a combination of threats (strike = you`re out) and false claims of permanent employment. So now it`s up to the CCs to set the mark, and personally, from what I`ve seen and heard around OSL, they are p!$$ed beyond repair!

That will come to an end when the Ryanair kids come to realize they were actually better off in Ryanair.

The important thing is for pilots to stick together.

The second thing is do not be gullible and believe nonsense. To suggest the contract was drawn up by the resource company and it is somehow all a big mistake sounds extraordinary unlikely. :confused:

NASPA the Finish union says membership is about 95%. What about spain and the UK?

Don't suggest for one minute that anybody is better off in Ryanair than NAS. The opportunity to take serious action in support of your grievances still exists in NAS. You are at the mercy of a certain extremely unsympathetic CEO in Ryanair.

Fight your corner at NAS and I'm sure it can be a great place to work.

I still think that you guys under 40 with command time would be better off commuting to China though. Negotiate your own deal.

Slightly off the current topic from the last few posts, which will be interesting to see what happens over the next few days, I was just wondering what the differences are with the different agencies, PARC, ARPI, Confair etc? have they different contracts regarding basic pay etc? Is any better than others if you had a choice? I've heard parC referred to in its reverse ha! Is this true?
