Expect Buzz after Line training indeed. Massive overcrew in the West on FO side and transfer lists are full of people who joined in 2022 or 2023 and are still waiting for their preferred bases. In this context it's hard to understand the need for so many cadets as the MAX-10 is not even certified, it's a bit premature if you ask me.
Some of you will get "lucky" and end up in DUB, STN or CRL, (still jumping the queue) but TIA, SOF, KRK and WMI are more probable.
With a Malta or DAC contract it's not much of a problem if there is a high crewing ratio as your basic salary will be high enough to compensate for the lack of flying. If you are with a buzz contract you are entirely dependent on flight hours and there is no minimum.

Hello guys! I’ve seen that recently a lot of guys have been sent to Buzz for line training. My training contract is with Ryanair DAC, can they still send me to Buzz for line training? Or do you think there’s still a chance I get Bergamo or Malpensa, as I selected these as base preferences?
I heard a lot of people got what they wanted in the past, but I don’t know if it’s still the case now as I see Ryanair needs a lot of pilots in Eastern Europe.

Buzz, Malta and DAC are all interchangeable. They mean nothing for where they can send you. It is all Ryanair.

The base transfer list in general is not very fair, many people getting deals to go to Morocco for 1 year to end up at a base of their no 1. choice going behind the base transfer list.

What do you mean by how they are going to fit 1000 cadets in Buzz? They cost 0 in Buzz. If you don't fly, you don't get paid. Any other AOC, they will have a basic income, flying or not.

Change of AOC
One instructor informed me that it’s harder for them to change you from DAC to BUZZ because of all the paperwork related to the change of AOC which is lengthy. Also they stated that under the course number FR…. You cannot be sent to buzz for permanent base but for line yes which makes sense

You can be sent anywhere both for LT and as permanent. The only good news is we're expecting more than 1000 cadets in 2026 and 2027, they just can't send all of them to Buzz.

True is just an availability and demand question where they need people or have to many people to distribute them evenly. Last winter in DUB base the average flying hours was like 25 hours a month only due to overcrewing.
