Type and line training

Hi, anyone who knows any good companies that provides type and line training programs for ICAO CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL holders? For a reasonable price

I know many of the 'professional pilots' will go against me and start saying people like me are the reason of destroying this industry. But to be clear I am thinking of going into that path because literally there is no any other ways, now some of you will tell me to build time as a FI or just wait for the job, well I have tried to be FI and none of them accepted me because where I live the flight schools have plenty of FIs and dont need any, and I have applied for a large number of airlines world wide but none of them even replied, the reason? Because I am not European or US Citizen, in fact I was born in Middle East and here my chances to get the job are below zero. I see many European airlines that hires European low hour pilots/cadets without paying anything and I feel bad for European pilots who choose P2F path! anyway, I've waitied for long and time is passing by very quick so I need from those who have had any good experience with these companies to give some advices.

Ah and yeah by the way, I also hold FAA CPL/IR and my total hours are 278 of which 85 on Multi Engine 'for the professionals who thinks I didnt do anything to get my job' I thought two type of license and a small anoumt of extra hours would let me fly a shiny jet!
I welcome all the suggestions that could to lead into getting A job, if there are none, well? P2F?

My question back to you is; will having 500 hours on any type help you get a job in the EU or US without having citizenship? To the best of my knowledge it won't. I'm not aware of any airline that offers the necessary visa sponsorship in either Europe or America. The supply of zero hour cadets is no where close to exceeding the demand (regardless of what flight schools would have you believe).

With that in mind, you need to do some research into the airlines that your current citizenship allows you to work for, and then figure out what their minimum requirements are for recruitment.

Lets sharpen our knives....... I had the same problem for years getting a first job and I am European...aswell as 1000's of others, you are not alone becuase you are not American or from EU....The major airlines in the Middle East have cadet scheme for locals only, unlike European Airlines, open to all with legal rights to work there..

Well, I am in the same situation, but I am latino, CPL, Flight instructor, multi engine, IR, icao 4, everything but no pilot jobs in my country and as I am low hour I can't apply for the bigger airlines because I don't have tYpe rating of any jet. And of course if there is no pilot jobs in my country the Flight instructors of the airclubs are not hired and no open jobs for flight instructors.

I am looking as you for any Type rating + line training ....I heard about some companies in Philippines as Alpha Aviation Group, but I am not sure, I am looking for some serious company that offers a real good program.

Find out if you are able to get a work permit in EU, if so apply for ULCC carriers offering a good way onto the job ladder.

Oh dear, what a shame, never mind.

What a marvellous decision you made to start training.

Go do a diploma or degree , and while you are waiting/studying you can keep applying for jobs.

Or , get a job in any airline's Operations department or recruitment department, at least you are earning money to keep your Ratings "current"......... your chance will come.

If you work within the aviation industry you will make contacts and build your reputation as a person - sooner or later a chance or contact will come your way.

Future looking bleak

As I started the modular training now at mid 30s I see my future is looking bleak in the uk. Will be nearing 40 when I complete if I want to waste the money and doing the FI waiting for the first job. Don't know what my options or hope would be then. Why this industry has to be like this. Luck, networking and waiting is the name of the game. Good luck to me.

The future is far from bleak. Waiting for a job is not the answer, putting yourself in a position to take a job when it comes up is the answer. If you do well in training and create opportunities for yourself then something will happen. Sit at home hoping for that magic call and you might be waiting a while.

Whether you choose to pay for the services of a company like L3 (formerly CTC) or get a job in ops for a regional airline/lcc/charter company and make in-roads that way, or simply keep applying online for Ryanair/Flybe/Smartlynx jobs that come up, determination and attitude will get you into that seat you desire.

A couple of chaps i know who didn't make the grade at CTC spent 18 months on their own creating opportunities for themselves and eventually it paid off. They're both sitting in the RHS of a 737 and it was no thanks to anyone but their own determination to get a job.

Good luck to you, there's something out there.
