Oh Oh. Ryanair targetting Southend Airport with some FlyBE overlap e.g. Dublin and Milan with perhaps more to come.
Not the end of the world but they are going to be eating some of FlyBE's dinner.

Hi guys, have my sim assessment with Flybe on the 4th of September! Would anybody be able to provide an insight into the process and have any hints/tips?
Thanks in advance guys, Chris

Example - high and fast on approach. Execute a good side slip and they’ll pretty much sign you up there and then. Apparently the want to move away from magenta worship.
What a load of cr@p! Do that and they’ll show you the door.

Apparently they’re really big on hand flying and like to see that you can get yourself out of a situation with no automatics etc. Example - high and fast on approach. Execute a good side slip and they’ll pretty much sign you up there and then. Apparently the want to move away from magenta worship.

The nature of turboprop flying is that for most people it is a short-term necessity rather than a career choice. Do your time, get a few command hours and then get an A320 or B737 on your licence. Just do not hang about at FlyBe too long.
