Anybody else know how often they run 737 type rating courses?
Next one is in November I believe.

Also is anyone from the June selection waiting for the 737?

Short haul bases in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The rest are all fully variable as we are second class citizens. Stockholm Arlanda based CP Pension contribution is 14 times that of a CP in LGW 🤬

Thanks for your kind reply. Is it true that in Dublin they are negotiating for new terms and offer a 7on 6off?

Not sure about that. It’s possible, if they’re rostering back to back U.S. trips, you’d be racking up flight and duty hours quite quickly, so it sounds feasible. BALPA have been working on a 14/4 fixed pattern in the U.K. It’s been trialled, but no info has been given as yet. They’re currently negotiating for a new CLA to start in Jan 2019.

In the Dublin base we do a mixture of single trips and did some back to back trips over the summer , usually one a month . There will be less W patterns over the winter season as the majority of flights originate in Dublin ( 3 flights a day increasing to 4-5 next spring ) . Therefore ,7 on 6 off may suit commuters but may not suit DUB based pilots so I would imagine most trips will be single trips . If you reduce the turnaround in home base to accomodate W patterns the operator has to provide airport Hotel accomodation and this has a cost so thats a complication . Just my twopence worth , but its a nice operation IMHO .
