I cannot believe how short sighted or self centred some of you are.
There is no wonder that any negotiating team runs riot and try and screw whichever way they can.
You will not achieve anything by bickering on here to the tune off: ''oooooh look at him, he earns more than me. That's not right, he should earn less so I feel better''.
Aspire to achieve better results by organising yourselves and yes that does mean this:
get off your lazy arse in the flight deck and stop moaning about everything. Nobody in their right mind will just give it to you.
Time to grow up and live in the real world.
If you don't add value then you are increasingly becoming a cost.
You need to convince them that you are worth it (cue l'Oreal)

In the past 14 days 3 pilots have lost SNY privilege for 3 months due to failure to follow approved boarding procedures.

that'll be the privelege of travelling on your days off, in uniform, to get to yet another stint or rostered out of base flying. Privelege removed for 3 months = 3 months of in base flying, bonus

Yea right!
You should know RYR by now! If you loose SNY travel and you are rostered to fly out of base, then It will be your problem, one I would personally fight in these circumstances. I don't know how they can classify this as a privilege, it's for work related travel only, it's only used to keep their operation running. All this will do is possibly restrict pilots who are based far far away from returning home to see their families. Ryanair, the worlds favourite employer.

And i still don´t understand pilots in FR accept this vioalation travelling on off days to position to another base. That is unlegal... One of the reasons why i left FR..
On a 5/3 base you will only have one day at home...

Irishpilot you're looking a mona lot's comment from the wrong angle. He's not saying RYR pilots make jack all for money, he's saying he pays his Filipino (doh) house maid more, for the 'special' services he requires!

I hope they go bust.......and what a sweet noise it will make.
I am off on my holls soon and am happy to pay a better airline, less money to get my family there - and I won't have to worry about my kids being placed all through the cabin away from me, or being constantly sold a sodding raffle ticket.
RyanAir are the biggest joke in the industry and should see that their pilots are their biggest assets. Shame they are all Cadets though.....

PAPI, What a load of tosh you talk! I have flown thousands of flights for Ryanair and on none of these have parents and their children been split around the cabin. As far as wanting a company that employs thousands of staff, and carries millions of pax to go out of business, what a selfish attitude!

Well you weren't on my flight to Granada then, were you - and with knickers that twisted, good job too. The first 6 rows were blocked off and the Capt wouldn't open them. My kids were then made to sit next to strangers, on their own, 8 rows from me. Who was going to make sure they got off during an evac?
I have told as many people as I know this fact and do you know what, none of them have flown RyanAir again. I am sure they have passed it on too.
Selfish...maybe a bit....getting a tiny bit even.....bloody right.
The other airlines that have been pushed about by RyanAir would take up the demand again. I am sure with the government wanting us to spend money, would encourage a new UK start-up. There would be not be any unemployment, just more shifting and happier pilots.
