Hi Tiny Tim!

No, We aren't like that at all Tim! We welcome anyone that joins us! As a majority, we are all really happy at Ezy (My third Airline may it be said and two of those were business class flights for a higher class airline!) and anyone that isn't happy soon leaves to join..........??????? Thanks for being sensible and looking beyond stubborness and undue snobbery!

Will Bored.

Thats the difference between Ezy pilots and some others I suppose. We all take each others roles as equal importance and communicate!

Granted, but my point on the company council remains,...... when are they gonna communicate with the workforce?!? I have heard NOTHING since the newsflash, other than a rumoured meeting on the 19th Nov which I presume was either top secret or cancelled,.....

what is happening?! we should know at least a rough outline (provided it does not compromise our position).......

we are being kept in the dark,.........

Mind you if the Jubilee house saga is anything to go by, we will be made an offer by easyJet, we will reject it, then easyJet will make a second offer, with worse conditions, and we will be recommeded to accept it by the council

I am very much looking forward to working for an airline which communicates with its staff, and treats it staff with respect

The problem EZY has is that it legally can't communicate directly with the GB workforce until the acquisition has been approved by the DTI monopolies and mergers. That has slipped again to the end of January now, much to evereyone's consternation.

Nobody wants to talk to you more than EZY do as there's so much good stuff to tell you, but UK law has tied their hands. Any communication directly from EZY to GB crews could jeopordise the whole thing.

Thank goodness for this forum - spread the word!

So it looks like tracker will apply then, as per our contracts.

Of course the tracker deal will apply. Easyjet only intend to buy GB, the deal hasn't been done yet, so it's not a surprise that nothing has been published on the subject. When the deal is completed in 6?-8? weeks time, GB will be a subsidiary of Easyjet and will be run as a seperate company accordingly. So pay deals and pay rises will happen within the subsidiary company for at least a year and possibly a number of years to come until a new agreement is reached between GB pilots (represented by balpa) and Easyjet management. Relax.

I wouldn't relax too much if I were you. The intention is for GB to be fully integrated by this time next year afaik.

Are all you GB folk aware that the PPRuNe Private Forum for easyJet is now open for all members of GB Airways?

Just apply with your GB employee details (as much as you feel comfortable with - we have ways of checking anonymously) and you will be granted access.

Kindest Regards

How???

WWW

Please give specific details on how to register for the easyjet forum. When I tried to visit the forum it bounced me away saying I didn't have the right privileges. Fine, but how do I get them. Over to you.

There is a "click here" item on the forum access, where you can input your details and WWW should then grant you access when that is verified.

What's the latest on the situation regarding GB students, currently undertaking their training at FTE? Will they be recruited by EZY at the end of their training?

Cheers.

All back to White

The end of the BA livery on GB Aircraft. Such a shame to see this happen.
I assume they will just be repainted into easyjets livery very soon.

Best to get the Red White and Blue off the GB aircraft ASAP. BA didn't care about GB or the fold that worked for them. The future's bright, the future is Orange
