The B17 and Dakota are doing a series of photoshoots for those who were willing to pay the cost (sorry not known to me). There were two flights planned for Saturday and two today. The pair were recently seen heading over north Essex for NW for the first run of the day.

Now a hour later it has landed back at Comingsby. This afternoons sortie looks to have started on the Wirral.

Spotted one on a farm strip on Google Maps near Lewes IIRC. The traditional Zlin paint scheme in blue and white.

Ah think that'll probably be a member of the tail dragging *26 family, this one sports a nose wheel, Lycoming IO-360 and side-by-side seating...

Great vis today from the common, can see a THY 737 downwind for 08 at Gatwick overhead Haywards Heath. Must be at least 25 miles south. Never noticed one like that before... Had a Chipmunk putter over earlier, sadly while I was walking along the road. Bloody traffic.

For reasons that are unknown to me (but for which I'm very grateful), Duxford's PBY while enroute from there to somewhere in the Southampton/Portsmouth area decided to do a couple of low orbits around my house. Missed the first one until I heard the growl, but managed to grab the camera in time for the second.

Another radar rarity on Sunday morning was a French Army PC-6 Turbo-Porter heading south over Newbury at a stately 125 KIAS/FL90, reportedly enroute from Liverpool back to its base at Montauban.
