@ aviator skies and flylow

many thanks indeed !!

Radar_Contact 20th Feb 2011 09:59

those who failed in august session interviews wont be called directly for interviews in march 2011...because they already got another chance then itself [because re-interviews were conducted]...so they have been called for writtens....since GD guys dint get a second chance...they will be called directly for GDs

it seems to be Jet's policy to re-assess a candidate from the stage he failed...but only one chance.

the same applies for Type rated guys as well..!!

Please check if this is correct

I thought

Metar was issued by Class III Met Offices.

MWO - Sigmet.

Class II - Forecasts.

and can any one please tell me If the No. of cabin crew required is determined by the seating capacity of the A/C or does it depend on the PAX present in the A/C?
The rule says only about capacity. I am not sure about this one.

cvchetan 20th Feb 2011 12:46

10-49....1 attendant and thereafter for every 50pax 1 attendant.

yyes, the no of attendants depends on seating capacity and not the no of pax present.

written for re-assessment ones.

Hey, are u sure that those who were re assessed in interviews last time, will have to give written again this time?

Anyone who appeared in re-interviews / re-assessments , who is exempted of written this time. please write.

I got a news. A guy who was sent REJECTION after 3rd re- interview, was revoked, i.e. he was taken in as his dad is in the office where interviews were being conducted. Anyone else who heard of it?

cvchetan 20th Feb 2011 17:01

a couple of pages back there are post of a couple of ppl who claim to have failed in interview and being called for written again...

Never go by what "he said, she said" unless you know someone yourself.
Also, anybody if at all were given special considerations like this- they would never publish it in a public forum quoting the same.

as far as i know, anyone who successfully cleared the written and GD but not the interview are called for written again.

cheers,
P

any idea if there are any special considerations ?

cheers,
P

Jibu 20th Feb 2011 19:27

it totally depnends upon capacity not on the no. of passengers at present.
upto 49----1
49to99------2
99to149----3

and so on.

Hi all,
Has anyone from Bangalore received call letter with Bangalore as test center?
I haven't seen anyone mentioning about Bangalore center or the venue in Bangalore. Though there were a couple of replies saying that they got their call letters but have been given Chennai though they have asked for Bangalore.

Thanks

Can anyone explain about METARS, TAFs and SIGMETS. There seems to be mixed reviews on the previous page any help would be much appreciated.

cobracommander 21st Feb 2011 13:00

is 2 deg celscius/1000 feet same as 3.5deg F/1k feet ?

If you convert it,it comes to 35.6F/1k ft. ,using the formula!

Vertigo911 21st Feb 2011 13:31

Thats because you are directly converting 2 degrees celsius to Farenheit. You have to calculate rate of fall of temperature differently.

SuperflyTNT 21st Feb 2011 18:24

Maximum Duty time in a 24-hour period: 11 hours
