sheesh i also heard the news from mine and middlekingdom interview batch guy. so nervous i can hardly make a post here. shouldnt they make all the calls at 1 go!

ahhhhhhh..... the wait is making me going crazy....one time i feel anxious and the next minute i feel nervous...hey...everyone out there any news???....

aaaa... looks like exam result is releasing tomorrow. wonder will my hp will ring? better charge your hp battery. One day she can call how many? i dun wan next week. i be even more nervous. =(

hey guys...its kind of a relief that at least one of us got the good news...but if im not mistaken..swifter, ur from s'pore rite? as the interviewers told as far as i can remember..priority will be given to s'poreans...anyway im happy for you man..just hope the rest of us can post 'happy' messages soon...probably we can indicate in the list if we're m'sians or s'poreans..wat do u guys think??!!

Dont worry.. my case is special.. I've gone thru my interviews around late aug.. gone for my medical 2nd sept. I was actually scheduled for the 13 oct.. but I can't make that date.. so here I am...

Anyway.. I'm in with Singapore Airline Cargo.. let me know who else is in it.

yrs is cargo huh. hmm. i think our batch will have lots of cargo.

whoa i just checked the earlier posts...seems like swifter went for the med on the 30th whereas my batch went on the 16th...kinda scary liao...i dont wanna make any assumptions based on that..stil praying...praying ...and praying....

seems like they have not started calling yet? maybe via email?

next week will be my 5th week of waiting...eheheh..happy aniversary of waiting..hahaha....just don't lose hope guys...I'm sure we will all get it...just wait and pray ....if its God's will for us to go to the course late then just wait .....hehehe...

Finally the day of some news have come, HR called me yesterday and told me that I will be joining you guys on Nov 25!!! but till now theres no email notice for me kind of worried again... sigh... plus i already tender my notice, sigh....

Be patient.. I reckon their working style is cool.. I have a friend who was in the same interview batch as me, he only received the contract two weeks before the entry date.

Likewise, only at the last moment then they'll let you know. So guys, hang in there.

actually there is only a list of whos waiting..theres no list of whos been called for the november intake for OBS..by the way..is the intake in lumut diff from the one gonna be taken by our fellow singaporeans??

Just to clarify what I meant on the previous mail..

I think the HR works in a way as to make sure the shortlisted ones for the intake are certain they can make it for the course before they send out the contract. They don't want to have cases where they send out to those who are uncertain whether they can make the date.

I know it does not make sense that they only send out the contract at the end yet most of us here needs at least a month to notify the company. But this is how they work. Anyway, if you can't be released in time for the nov course, then you just got to let them know and seek for alternative arrangement. Simple as that.

pray that all can get in nov batch. 1/3 is filled i think. left 2/3. If next year batch, the papers will be very tough due to change of syllabus. pray pray.

Congrats guys on being offered your contracts. Do your best, work hard, look after each other.

You will hear these words "I didn't invite you, SIA didn't invite you. Now pay attention, goddammit!" Don't think that it is hard, because after you are done studying, it gets harder.

And when you finally get on line, remember all the times someone did you a disservice, and remind yourself never to be like that.

Hey guys. i got an offer for Nov batch. Will be joining SIA cargo. How many of you got offer passenger? Seems like all are cargo.

Swift is also confirmed for the november batch

It is because i rejected the first offer on Oct 13. then i got offered Cargo on the 2nd time? Same scenarios as sexauman. Also posted to cargo.

u r wrong, my batch got a malaysian already confirmed on nov obs, he 's now waiting for his emplyment pass to clear....

i'm a malaysian and yes - i got my email confirmation letter from Mdn J already. But when i called her to request about my employment status, she jus said tt it is still in the process. well, i guess it doesnt take that long for the employment pass issue to be settled. all the best and see u guys in seletar!

bong..when did u do your medical? ...the reason i asked abt the intakes in nov...was because i thought that only m'sians are sent to lumut whereas s'poreans are sent to the OBS in s'pore..and i thought they'd have different intakes.........anyway...mr E told us that they'l only contact us once the medical n employment pass i done...as far as i can remember...anyways...thanks guys!

for those who have experienced how SIA works, does it mean that if I tell them I only need 3 weeks notice, they'll really wait till its 3 weeks left before they call?

Nov intake
 

Hi guys,

i am new to this thingy. I am supposed to join the sep intake but have been delayed till nov. coz i needed to give a long resignation notice. Currently waiting for letter to arrive. Waited for almost 3 months!
So for those still waiting ...be patient..
i believe in fate....

Perhaps those who are attending the nov intake can meet up before the course starts....

By the way , how u guys know u are in cargo or passenger?
