Hope someone can shed light on this matter. |

Anyways did you apply for Jet/Indigo ?
|
Jet/ Indigo is self-funded programmes right ? I don't have that much amount to finance myself, also the banks rejected my inquiry request itself about the loan for Indigo Cadet Pilot Program. They were not even ready to give me a proper explanation and started talking about the risks and risks for my family blah blah blah...
India should also start sponsored Ab-initio Cadet Pilot Program like SIA. Our govt. and PM has to do something about this. |

And if you do not have collateral then contact Auxilo, they will fund you on the basis of LOI given by the airlines after you pass all your tests.
All the best. |
I saw the requirement of SIA cadet pilot and it require polytechnic diploma or degree
What is polytechnic? is it something like engineering course? What if my degree is not in engineering based? Do I have an opportunity of being SIA cadet pilot? |

They have stopped hiring international candidates, it is evident on their careers page where they changed International to Singapore citizens only.
I applied back in September, so you can guess.. They do require Nationality and passport details on the application form for non-Singapore citizens. https://singaporeairlines.csod.com/a...ils.aspx?id=73 |
Hi guys,
I had went for preliminary interview on 5th of May but I had failed. Received the rejection email on last Monday. Regarding to the "one shot for the preliminary interview" that you guys said before, I had emailed the recruitment team and he said decision to reapply is mine. So from this, i knew we can reapply back. My friend went for December last year but failed the interview and he went that day and passed. By the way, this is for Malaysian recruitment. Might be from my opinion its different process apart from Singapore based recruitment |

I recently checked the advertisement and it doesn't say anything specific about "Singapore Citizens only".

Doesn't say anything about only Singapore citizens being eligible to apply. It only says that all interviews will be held in Singapore. I applied through this link itself.
Infact no international candidate ever got any reply. |
For emirates and fly Dubai they are still surviving to have pilot ; many open days for recruitment are opened ; I’m not sure they will go for cadet for international or not but I think they must go for it as now many aircraft are grounded and they ordered about 150 new aircraft to be delivered befor 2020 ; will let’s monitor and see what will happen

Yes, I would also like to know what happens to the application status once the form has been rejected. If it just shows as "in review", that's a very deceiving state. Also, you mentioned about sever shortage of pilots at Emirates and flydubai. Any plans that these airlines are going to open cadet pilot programs for non-UAE nationals?

I heard a rumour that international applicants are never called up for the interview. If the rumour is true, does that mean a Singaporean citizen residing outside of Singapore won't be called up or does that only apply to persons who aren't of Singaporean nationality?
|
Dear International aspirants,
I have got a bad news, well it sounds unhappy for me. Got informed by an A380 Captain Line Instructor Pilot in SIA that for ab-initio cadet pilot no international applicant will be considered. The specific country shall be mentioned in brackets for example Ab Initio Cadet Pilot (Singapore) and Ab Initio Cadet Pilot (Malaysia). They only consider citizens and PR's. |

What about singaporean citizens who currently reside overseas? i.e. work posting overseas/overseas studies

Has anyone taken the aptitude test, and can share about it?
|
SIA would be sending their cadets to HM Aerospace Langkawi Malaysia for training soon from reliable source. Not sure why but my guess is Singapore Flying College is in full house.

Question about my application
Dear all my friends.
I just registered in this forum. Please me to introduce myself. I am indonesian and i was applied for the cadet pilot programme for international on march 2018. When i checked my application at SIA site, it says that my application status is in review. Would you all guys mind to tell me, what it means? Is it still a chance for me as indonesian to get this job? I have been waiting for the answer for my application status since march 2018 till now, am i qualified for this job or no? Is there any indonesian that passed all the stages and officially become a cadet pilot at SIA by this programme? I'll be waiting for your help and response regarding all my questions. Best wishes for all of you to reach our dream with SIA Kindly regards. Angga |

Can anybody please share the email id of SIA HR team.

Hello all,
I am new to this forum. I have been going through the threads about Singapore Airlines cadet pilot program. I have applied for this program recently, on 9th of June 2018. I have been checking regularly for any changes in the review status. I have noticed that the last modified date has been changing. when I applied, the date was 09/06/2018. when I checked again later, it was 12/06/2018 , it again changed to 15/06/2018. I am not able to understand that happening. I have no idea on how to get in touch with the HR people. Is there any way we can get in touch with them? Kindly Help me out with this. Thanks in advance. |
Hello all.
Any information on why this is happening? If anyone can give me any information about HR, it will be greatly helpful. Thanks. |
Anyone received an invitation to the cadet pilot preliminary interview on the 7th/8th July (Malaysian applicants)? For those whom have been invited, would be great to convene together prior to the interview.
Cheers fellow aspirants. |
Hey, may I know when did you applied? All the best for your upcoming interview!
|
Hi there. Thank you very much. I have been applying since the year 2017 up to date. A fresh application every time the ad comes out online. Therefore, I am unsure which application worked the magic.
Cheers. |
